Right I recently posted in the yesterday I bought thread a picture of some Wii U games I bought. With one being Batman Arkham Origins that Jas seemed to be a bit bemused about it being on Wii U. As I'm trying to collect every Wii U game I've got a list of them all, which some of you might also find useful to find out if a game like Batman Arkham Origins is on the system or not.

I take it batman Origins never came out at the same time as the other format versions?

Nope same time on everything.

This has just brought to mind how much shovelware there is on Wii U -- the library feels like a system at the end of its life (think: late GameCube, which did still get that Tomb Raider game for some reason despite Eidos swearing not to support it again).

That being said it certainly makes it a viable platform to collect all the games for.

The Cube still got likes of fifa 06 etc like the og xbox right to the end.

But because the U like you said feels like it's at the end of its life especially with most 3rd party not touching it unless it's just skylanders dance edition 12, it makes the U very easy to collect for but some of games are still quite pricey.

Of course we know it's likely got another 2 year's at least in it, I can't see the library growing that much as Nintendo can only get so much out on it there self's.

Huh! no idea why I picked it up on ps3 then as I quite like the gamepad features in Arkham city.

I swear I remember that you were going to buy it but it came like a month later. Plus there was no online/dlc on Wii U I think.

Just looked in the WiiU thread of batman, where you say you've already got on PS3 etc

And Andy you are almost right, looking back it was something like a week delay on the WiiU.

I ended up not liking the game that much anyway and I probably should have traded it a while ago as I doubt I'll get a decent price for it now.

I never played it first time around as it came out same time as something else which I started playing then bam PS4 was here, so just got traded in towards that.

Also on a price now it doesn't help that the trilogy pack came out like 2 month's for £40 but hey still £7 in GAME for it, if you want.

I'll probably just leave it now.

Like fronk pointed out there is some bad games on the U, I own some already like ZombiU

But when I went town yesterday I almost bought Pac-Man and The Ghostly Adventures 2 as you'll never see it again the fist on the Wii U still with like £20 used where on 360 it's £15 NEW.

Did you not see the , I don't like ZombiU but I know it's no where near as bad as let's say Hot Wheels which I own.

Couldn't help but think of this thread after I took delivery of Your Fitness 2013 yesterday (for two whole pounds new and sealed on Amazon). Counting from the list in the OP, I own - or have owned - forty-seven of those games on Wii U, and probably another ten on other consoles. That's pretty decent going for someone who hasn't tried collection or barely plays their Wii U at all.

I've played or owned more than the 51 I've got at the moment.

But that Your Shape Fitness game is one of the reason I started collecting as I picked up something like that cheap and bam next minute, you've got 40 games that I might as well try to collect games on it.

Of the 3rd party games I have got (8/20), only Monster Hunter and Resident Evil hold any real interest for me, the rest I got really cheap and didn't care for any of them as it turns out.

Still on my list of games I will likely get:

Outside of these, I can't see myself getting anything else unless it is super cheap, as it isn't price I care about, I just don't care about the games. My days of collecting games for the sake of it appears to be reducing fast - I have 110 Gamecube and 170 Wii games. I am happy with how the Wii U is coming along so far, but I do need some JRPG - I wish Nintendo would buy up a few studios. I don't care about the 3rd party games I am missing out on as not a single game on the PS4 or Xbox One has interested me even slightly yet (the PS4 will when some good JRPG comes out).

I don't dislike Rayman, but I don't care for it and Legends didn't make me change my mind on that, despite acknowledging it is a well made game.

I dislike Rayman, but still thought Legends was great. That despite not caring for Origins.

Two new games just came out under the radar, one is EU only but it's a biggie :joker:
