| Man, I was hovering over the Peach plate on amazon for so long... In the end I went with the wooden mario. It's really stylish looking, and slightly molded so it genuinely feels wooden to hold.
If it wasn't clear; I also bought a Cricket World Cup new 3ds this weekend, along with Zelda, monster hunter and a slightly-too-long list of DVDS, books and comicbooks from the Internet. It was payday, see. |

| Don't know how you do it Jas, I had to sell my Ambassador New 3DS to buy my XL on a full time job.

| You had to but it?
As for the Face plates not really, I love my japanese 3ds to death but with Majoras and that monster hunting game I won't be touching it for a while and I only just got the Pokemon set and plan to get the black Zelda plates when released |

How when I was unemployed only for about 3 months, I had to sell things like all my Blu Rays & Box Sets to pay rent & bills. Not being able to buy games or even a console. Or is it eat baked beans mode. |

| Nope, I just watch really carefully what I'm spending also I don't really care if I do or don't have money as long as the essentials are covered. |

| If you can do this on benefits then weres the incentive to get a job though, I can't see one as you know from me working full time I sold my PS3 to buy a PS4, then Ambassador to buy a XL. So I'm worse of in some-ways then you.

| I am on unemployment benefits for the first time in my life. I have reduced my game buying to essentially zero. Lucky for me I have a huge collection of unfinished games. Even though our welfare payments are about $30K (about £16K) a year, that doesn't leave much after paying the bills and buying food. I look forward to a job not just for the opportunity to contribute and be free of welfare, but to able to buy games again. |

Money tends to be relative to the country you live in, so it is never easy to make simple comparisons. Keep in mind, most of that money isn't mine, in fact only a third of it is, the rest is for my partner's disability pension. First time ever she makes more money than me. |

| Might as well post this since it won't fit in the shot with the other things coming up. Self explanatory covers are self explanatory. Most here would probably view the one on the left as the bigger score, I view the one on the right the bigger score. Finally got the second of the two modern jdk band albums which I've been wanting since I took a liking to Falcom Sound Team jdk years ago, so it's a nice feather in the cap. The Hyrule Field Main Theme is ridiculously good though, almost worth the whole soundtrack for it alone. Add in the beautiful Great Fairy's Fountain remix and the funky Middle Boss Battle remix and it's a treat. Now, back to my solitary confinement. |

| Picked up Phantasy Star Online: Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution on GameCube today for £9.99 in a shop in Yeovil which sales retro game, comics, figures etc. The retro section good if you had a NES or SNES or PS1 and had a bit of money on ya but PSO:E3 was all I good find worth my money. |

| The only one of those I've played is Shake Dimension, which was beautiful but left no other impression on me. Yesterday I bought a new belt. The fun never starts stops, honest! |

| Added a Zelda N3DS XL to the house yesterday. That makes six of them in the house. Five mine, one my daughter's. |
