| Yea, it has evolved hugely since it was first shown. At this point even if I were given the world's biggest box I still wouldn't be able to contain my excitement! |

Ahh all those levels are likely in that 100 Mario challenge mode so I think you have your wish but it might be tough to beat 100 levels with only 100 lives but I'm well up for that challenge. |

| I'm still mega-excited for this; but... having listened to the GNamer podcast (#plug) Andy brings up a very important point which I hope Nintendo attempt to address: user made content in games is never sensibly regulated - trying to play other maps in TF2, LBP or Smash Bros., I always assumed I was missing some kind of filter or option. Nintendo themselves need to be saying "ah wow, look at this cool level!" But I'm going to write the word Poo in official Mario blocks; I couldn't be happier. |

Wow, I'm looking forward to that. Would be nice if the game tracked how you do across each level, bit like Pikmin 3 and what it tracked across each day. Maybe you'll be able to optimise your run-through? |

| This is one of those things I'm giving zero thought to, but will probably end up buying and loving to bits. Especially as it comes out on my birthday! |

| I'm no great fan of creating my own fun in games, nor of playing unofficially designed content in general. And I'm not much of a fan of 2D Mario either: I prefer my least-favourite proper 3D Mario (i.e. excluding SM3DL/W) to my favourite 2D one. For those reasons, the game didn't really appeal. But all the extra stuff stuffed in is doing it for me. |

| Is that amiibo real? I'm far too lazy to investigate myself. |

| It turns out I was mistaken, she is in the game but there are character costumes to unlock through normal play. |

| That's what makes it more appealing for me. Couldn't be bothered to ferret around for an Ashliibo myself. |

| That's fair but I think it's good they have both in there as if amiibo weren't a thing I don't think any of the third party characters (or even certain Nintendo ones) would have had a look in & we would have missed out on being able to make a level around that character. |

| Oh yes, that's what I meant: both. Although I'm getting more and more jaded by amiibo as a concept, with only YWW providing an impressive use (and that being read-only). |

| Meh. Can't even manoeuvre Ganondorf into a Warlock Punch position. More of a figurine than a toy. |

| THE END OF DAYS
All "best Sonic game in 20 years" "jokes" aside, this gets better and better. I'm not worried about the gradual unlocking; it suits me fine to be honest, and it should get people to focus and experiment on bits, rather than a scattergun approach. Does anyone care about Splatoon's Ranked Battle delay now? |

| Played this last week during Nintendo's tour, I'm gonna need to get a lot of practice in for this 100 Mario's challenge because I really suck at it, of the levels I played it felt suitably old school, even in NSMB-o-vision. |

| Mario Maker has limits on item placement, but you'll never reach them unless you're a sucker for moving platforms and warp pipes. 15 days! That's, like, SOON! |
