| Scalebound the Xbox One exclusive from platinum and likely apart from Halo 5 the only reason to own a Xbox One. Has some new details
"When people really understand what we're building, they're gonna be shocked," Lobb said during an interview on The Inner Circle Podcast. Scalebound will be a major AAA title, according to Lobb, and as he put it, has the potential to be "Game of All-Time."
Lobb was unable to speak on exactly what kind of game Scalebound is, but he did offer up a few hints. "What does Platinum do well? That's what they're building. And what do we (Microsoft Studios) do well? That's what we're adding. And yes, these are dragon companions."
Lobb added that Scalebound's name is somewhat intentional. "Scale: they (PlatinumGames) build crazy, gigantic things."
When asked if Scalebound shares similarities with Monster Hunter, Lobb dismissed the suggestion, calling the Capcom series "weird and grindy." Platinum Games Has 'Never Made a Game Like Scalebound'
So, when will we finally see Scalebound in action? Lobb says we'll be getting our first look later this year. He even teased, "I walk down the hall and I play a lot."
I know what PG can bring to the table not sure on Microsoft apart from a big cheque which PG might need though to make what they want. |

| It did look good but I had to chuckle at the Monster Hunter comparisons, not sure it's enough for me to want a XO though. |

| Yeah it's not really MH at all, bit of an odd comparison. Better start getting hyped man, I need a crew... |

| I've not seen as at work but a XBONE it's not £300, I paid £225 new with Batman that be less when Scalebound comes out. |

| I just threw out a number as I know you can get it cheaper than that, my point still stands though. |

| Delayed to 2017 I posted on SONM as there is more talk in the other threads then here and I'm really really tempted to sell my XBONE to a mate at work as I just done my most anticipated games for the XBONE video and it's rather weak especially knowing some months like April the PS4 & Wii U has some great exclusives I sooner play and now with this moving to 2017. I'm like whats the point of me having a XBONE for so few games as if you watch the video some are on PC, yes games will be announced between now and 2017 but I just can't muster any enthusiasms for anything or can think what they could do for me go WOW! I need a XBONE part from this, maybe Beyond Good & Evil 2 as an exclusive but that's about it. But 2017 is a long time away and by then, if I can get a XBONE now for £208 with two games at a push what will it be then. |
