| Yay, I finished the Safari completely. Caught my last Sharpedo this morning. I also caught my daughter's last Pokemon (she is laid up with a significant undiagnosed illness that is worse than usual, so I did it for her), a Cherrim. For me, it is back to getting all the consoles above 90,000 coins through Meowth, then moving to catching the last few stages, get the S Ranks and capture the Ex Pokemon. I can get an average 8-10,000 coins a day on Meowth, so it won't take long as they were between 30-80,000 coins to begin with. I level the better Pkemon up whilst I am at it, so it isn't a complete time drain. |

| Just out of curiosity OS - why do you amass such a massive coin reserve? I rarely go above 10,000 coins.
Also, caught Carvanha, leaving me with 4/5 Safari 'Mon. I've still not had a second Sharpedo encounter. |

Also, caught Carvanha, leaving me with 4/5 Safari 'Mon. I've still not had a second Sharpedo encounter. Patience and grinding. I get 330 coins almost every try and I do it every possible opportunity. I know the amount per day, as I recored it and it has been as little as 6,000 and as high as 12,000 (on a day with the Meowth challenge). A week of that is easily 60,000 coins. As I mentioned before, it is also constructive for levelling up all the best Pokemon, so it isn't just the money. Every strong Pokemon has at least a level 3 and all of the Mega are about level 8. When I hit 90,000 coins, I do what it takes to catch the Pokemon who were a bit stubborn, and I will use a Great Ball to do it, knowing I have the reserves to back it up. I still have all of the Gems as well, about 20 on each. Or in other words, I am OCDish, and this appeals to me. |

| I've beaten Mega Altaria and Mega Glalie over the last two days, so I'm quite happy with my progress at the moment. Having a bit of bother with some of the capture rates at the moment, though. Ninetales is proving a bit of a swine to net. |

| I just need to catch me a Liepard and then I can move back to catching Haunter at the furthest point of my progress. I still have 20,000 coins, so I'm thinking about catching my second legendary bird in the EX stages.
How are people doing for levels for their key Pokémon? I should imagine some of you have got some high-level 'Mons by now. |

| There are a few Level 8's in the bag - Scyther, Scizor and Aurorus - but the highest level Mega is Altaria at 7. |

| I haven't used Mega Altaria much, but the way it displaces tiles seems to be quite effective. |

| Lucario, Gengar and Heracross are all level 8 for me - I've a smattering of Level 6 and 7s too. |

| Soldiering on towards level 125 now. These capture rates are rankling me slightly still, Flareon's fault this time. I will not frivolously spend my 24,000 coins. |

| I went through the main levels and then started catching the 'Mon I missed/S-Ranking earlier levels to unlock more expert levels with a stronger team. I don't think there's much point in catching every 'Mon along the way, considering the later/expert critters far outclass the others. In Sharpedo news - still no Sharpedo. |

| Gengar grahghrghhrrrrrnggh! (I've not been progressing (generally) until I've caught each 'Mon. Therefore, I might be stuck where I am for a while. ) |

| Yay me, I now have three of my consoles with a complete Pokedex for the main stages, all 180 of them. Dot them all done today. The other two started late - both my daughters got Zelda consoles and gave the old ones back to me, long after Shuffle came out. Now it is on to the Ex stages, which are all about 1/3rd complete, then get the S rankings up to get Ex 20 (and I assume 21, which needs 100% S ranking?). And I haven't spent a cent. What will I do if I get every thing they have?

| There are bound to be more Pokémon released before you can get all the ones in the game at the moment. I've only got Mewtwo to get but am nowhere near S-ranks on all the hard monsters myself. |

| Yeah, EX Stage 21 requires all 185 main stages to be S-Ranked. I've only got 7 more stages to S-Rank, but I'm still stuck doing this bloody Safari. My plan is to get EX Stage 21's 'Mon, maybe S-Rank the EX Stages and then stop playing this everyday. I'll probably still check in for the free coins/new content, but considering I'd have literally no goal to work towards bar coin/level grinding, I'd have no motivation to keep playing. |

| Blimey, Jay, that's pretty serious! I've seen Sharpedo twice - good luck catching the blighter! In other news, I have Mewtwo! Watch there be more new 'mon in an update tomorrow morning... |

| First I get the coins, then I get the power, then I get the Pokemon! Plus I keep my Gems for a rainy day and never spend real money. " /> And I am sure you all met with some significant combos with Safari, but this was my new highest score: " /> |

| My highest combo was 121 - impressive stuff, OS.
Celebi went down easily enough - a couple of tries was all it took. Back to Sharpedo hunting... I'm going to be very salty if I don't catch him, considering I've used upwards of 200 hearts on the Safari and encountered him once. It's this type of lame RNG that turned me away from Rumble World, and I can see the same happening here. |

One in 100 or so turns is just a bit too high. I will get Celebi tonght. These have never been very hard. Shouldn't this be a slogan for the banner? First you get the coins, then you get the power, then you get the Pokemon! |

| I caught Celebi on my first try. And he's rubbish as a Pokémon: 50 attack as a new catch? Pff! Ironically I'm having a great deal more trouble catching Togekiss, and I've just about given up on the Safari Zone having still only caught Spinda and Cherubi up to press. Still immensely enjoying this game, though; slowly but surely my combo-finding skills seem to be improving. Up to Haxorus now, which is stage 149. |
