Forum slightly bust at the moment...

Can I have some help please, users of the mobile layout? I've had to switch to this because some of Forumotion's adverts appear to prevent the full site from loading, but I can't find a way to see the most recent post in a thread. How does one do this?

The mobile layout is not the best. There was no way to find the most recent posts - when I last used it, anyway - without going from page to page. These days I open the pull-down menu from the top right and switch it to 'Classic Layout'... but that brings back the ads that have pushed you to the mobile layout in the first place.

I don't get along with the mobile layout at all.

If I can't use my laptop I just don't use the forum, it is the worst.

Inconceivably, it looks like there's a way to sort this out. It should be sorted by this time tomorrow... hopefully!

Whilst we will gladly accept any praise coming our way, the only skill we used was patience. There is nothing we can do when that vicious circle starts to spin...

I'm browsing the forum on my phone at the moment and there are some things missing from the screen, like the native icons on the header (so no Memberlist list, or Log out icon, etc). Is anyone else experiencing this?

Ha! I haven't been able even to log into the forum on my 'phone for a while!

Oh. That's bizarre. I would say 98% of my forum posts are made on my phone. Have you tried swapping to 'Classic Version'?

And the icons are back now, so, panic over.

I have, no joy. I might need to clear cookies or summat.

Bloody cookies. I blame Yoshi, to be honest. On a more serious note, it makes sense - the mobile version of the site has been upgraded in recent months, so a stale cookie might be to blame.

This was me for the first year or two of my GNamering. Do you remember the constant weird typos?

Indeed, clearing cookies seems to have done the trick!

It was, now it's changed to mine and all is well again.

Bits of the style sheet keep disappearing on my phone. Unsettling. Time to poke around in the forum's murky depths whilst hoping that the issue gets sorted out on its own!

Forumotion's having some issues today it seems - not much we can do on our end for now!
