Forum Maintenance Again!/APRIL FOOL!

Hi guys! Looks like Forumotion are messing us about again: they've given us access to our busiest forum only but, as an admin, I can still see all the others, so I'm going to start migrating posts. It's going to be a big job, so it'll be a slow process. Get your requests for favourite threads to see whilst all this is going on!

Edit: We fooled (some of) you! In April!

Who's that pokemon was popular and a lot of fun, so would be nice to have that.
Also, somewhere to discuss the Direct tonight.

Have they given any indication how long this will last? Because if it isn't long, don't go crazy trying to sort it.

Have you actually nicked Ballas avatar, or is that frumotion too?

Moved the WTP thread, and I'm thinking we'll create something new for the Direct. My fellow admins' mileages may vary, of course! Forumotion never tell us how long these things are going to be, either.

It was like this when I got up, Jas - I don't know what else to tell you. If it is an April fool, it's pretty mean of whoever's done it not to let me in on it!

Has mandlecreed been back online? Remember what happened to the forum last time he logged in?

Something for the Direct would be cool and later could be moved into the direct thread. But myself don't want to go to much into it as would like to talk about it in the podcast but still be cool to see what likes of Balla, Stu, Andy etc think of it.

Do what you want for the time being, I/we can always shift it later when everything's up and running again.

I logged in at about 2am and thought I was losing it or had been barred from all but one forum section.

I smell tomfoolery at foot...

The reason I think it is an April fool is I logged on about 00:30 to talk about what I recently done in bloodborne and I seen section by section disappear before my eyes and it also told me I couldn't post as I wasn't an admin for the site.

Not saying it was Stu but he was the only other person logged in at the time when this as happening, also when forumotion have maintenance a big warning page shows up and links or certain sections have green lettering which I did not see when I was on.

If it isn't then I apologise if it seems I'm pointing the blame to the admins but if it is what I think it is then poor show.

I'm quite the opposite! There's not enough tomfoolery in this po-faced world.

I'm all for a joke/tomfoolery I just think there are better efforts throughout the entire year than there are on this day, plus a joke/prank/whatever will only work if folk are dumb enough to forget what day it is.

The man getting all het up about the most harmless prank I've ever seen? We don't have the resources to make Pac-Man appear on Google Maps, so we thought we'd try something simple. And if people didn't find it funny, well, fair enough - we'll try something else next year!

Also I kinda feel like the point of April Fools is so that people can get it and feel all clever, or do something really impressive (like the aforementioned Pac-Man malarkey). Not many people are actually going to be fooled today.
