| The 2000 Spider-Man being better than Enter: Electro, yes. If the Spider-Man 2 being referred to in the vote is the one based on the film release, I have to retract my vote for it because I haven't played it! |

| Was the 2000 Spiderman the one by the Treyarch guys, who did Tony Hawks? Recall an interview with them in an old Dreamcast magazine and it looked pretty good at the time. |

| Zero's vote for Spider-Man 2 has been retracted.
I think your right gJones, I've got the game on DC and think it looks decent enough as Treyarch did great ports to the console like Tony Hawks 2. |

| This is one of my favourite periods of gaming - I played so much on the Wii and the 360 during this time. I'm going to nominate a boatload of games this week. Let's rock!
Batman: Arkham Asylum: Yep! Bayonetta: Yep! BioShock: Yep! Burnout Paradise: Yep! Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare: Yep! Gears of War 2: Yep! If you'd said the first one I might have said no, but GoW2 is amazing. Halo 3: Yep! Mass Effect : As janky as it is, I love it. Yes. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots: BROTHERRRRRRRRR. Yep! Portal: Yep! Shadow Complex: It was a fun Metroidvania, but the fact I remember next to nothing about it suggests that it wasn't classic material. No. Shadow of the Colossus: Of course! The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion: Yep!
And my nominations:
Star Wars Battlefront 2 Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence Persona 3 Guitar Hero III Lost Odyssey (I doubt anyone here has played this, but goddamn it's such a good RPG) Persona 4 Fable II Fallout 3 Left 4 Dead Skate 2 Street Fighter IV Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time Assassin's Creed II Left 4 Dead 2

| @Jay I've only heard good thing about Lost Odyssey and was only saying the other day about a HD remaster of it.
@Drunka I can't say every game, as then you've got something to put forward also still don't get the Uncharted hate as 2 is f'ing brilliant at everything in the hyper action adventure genre (what Naughty Dog says about the genre)
On this era was good PS2 & Xbox went out on some top titles like SotC & Jade Empire then what would of been next gen kicked of, I don't have fond memories of the Wii like you Jay and having looked at these classic the 360 was good up to about the end of this weeks time frame then became all about the PS3. |

Because he was a dwarf. Made of ice. But oh boy, this is going to be a complicated one - abstains missed out: Batman: Arkham Asylum - Yes BioShock - *breathes in through teeth* - Yes. Although I don't actually like the game having played it recently, my opinion may have differed with 7-years-ago-eyes. Heavenly Sword - No. Feel a bit mean giving things a No at this stage, but I think this is a good opportunity missed Kingdom Hearts II - No. (Feel less mean about this one). Mass Effect - Yes Okami - YEAH Portal - YEAH! Resident Evil 4 - YEAH!! Shadow of the Colossus - Yeah The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - YES!! Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - Yes Fable II - Yes Street Fighter IV - Yep And now for my suggestions to be "No"d by all: Psychonauts Tomb Raider Anniversary - I know it's a remake, but it reeeally modernises the original idea Pro Evo Soccer 5 Team Fortress 2 |

| Tomb Raider Anniversary I can yes that one. A really fun game, and actually playable to this day unlike the PS1 originals. - Jimbob wrote:

Because he was a dwarf. Made of ice. There are probably much more sensible things I should be suggesting, but this comes to mind: Peter Jackson's King KongThis was kind of a last hurrah for the whole idea of tie-in games. You still get games based on licences, but the concept of a console game being released alongside a film to directly tie in fell off as soon as games became just as expensive to make as the films themselves. Here, though, the game was produced alongside the film with a lot of involvement and a proper game director in Michel Ancel. It was criticised at the time for being short, but when you're going back and playing an old game that can actually be a godsend. And in those five hours you get luscious visuals, innovative shooting and enjoyable monster mashes. I love old monster films and the release of King Kong in 2005 was a big deal to me. So when it was released on 360, I was so jealous I convinced myself the DS version was good. |

Fixed Drunka said originals though... if we're going to get pedantic here, there was only one on Saturn. |

| Batman: Arkham Asylum Yes Bayonetta Yes BioShock Yes Burnout Paradise No. The classic Burnouts are 2, 3 and Revenge. Paradise lost something for me, it felt like Test Drive Unlimited which was shite. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Abstain (yes, really) Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Abstain Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening Yes, enjoyed this a lot more than the previous ones. Dissidia: Final Fantasy Abstain Dragon Age: Origins Abstain Dreamfall: The Longest Journey Abstain but really want to play this. Flower Abstain Gears of War 2 Yes. I enjoyed all three Gears but 2 was the best. Halo 3 Abstain. I'm not a Halo fan to be honest. Halo Wars Abstain. Heavenly Sword Abstain. Jade Empire Abstain. Kingdom Hearts II Abstain. Mass Effect Abstain. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Abstain. Okami Yes although only played a bit of this. Portal Yes. Resident Evil 4 Yes. Shadow Complex Abstain. Shadow of the Colossus Abstain. Need to rectify this though. Tales of Vesperia Abstain. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Yes. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Yes Yes Yes Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Abstain. Valkyria Chronicles Abstain. Viva Piñata Abstain. Star Wars Battlefront 2 Abstain. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater / Subsistence Abstain. Persona 3 Abstain. Guitar Hero III Yes. I can't recall if 2 was the one I played though. Lost Odyssey No, just couldn't get in to this. Seem to recall it having four discs(!) Persona 4 Abstain. Fable II Abstain. Fallout 3 Yes. Left 4 Dead No. Skate 2 Abstain. Street Fighter IV Abstain. Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time Abstain. Assassin's Creed II Yes. The only one I enjoyed. Left 4 Dead 2 Abstain. Psychonauts Abstain. Tomb Raider Anniversary Abstain. Pro Evo Soccer 5 YES. Team Fortress 2 Abstain.
