The more I want to avoid spoilers of this the more I see, I'm liking a lot of what I'm seeing don't get me wrong but it is frustrating, has it always been this way with Pokemon? Surely they'd want to keep some of the new Pokemon under wraps.

Question: are Pokémon evolutions called "evolution" in Japan, or something closer to metamorphosis?

It does seem to be the same word in Japanese; however:

In the Pokémon Adventures manga, it is mentioned that Pokémon Evolution is an entirely separate phenomenon from the normal process of evolution, and is a mysterious ability exclusive to Pokémon that is still not fully understood. In Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, it is described in the health class at the school in Serene Village as when a Pokémon's body rapidly grows larger with many other changes bringing a Pokémon closer to being an adult, being described akin to puberty.

Ah, I remember in my teenage years when I was stopped in my tracks one day, illuminated by a mysterious white light before emerging from the light with a crippling shyness around women and a slightly deeper voice.

I heard a thumping base beat, then awoke with no hair, a sick chinstrap beard and a ludicrous sense of unearned confidence.

Aspect of Sun & Moon revealed to Zero in a Direct:
Z-moves look to me like the special moves you get in Inazuma Eleven. That is a good thing to this guy.

One of the (many) great things about that...
Spoiler:
...the trainer starts the move standing on the Snorlax's stomach.

Because there were a few small bits and pieces that hadn't been spoiled yet. God damn it TPC/Game Freak.

The games are going to be 3.2 gigs, yes, gigs.

It's a clear sign that the upgrade in visual presentation on display in the trailers isn't just for show. Colour me very excited!
Is it weird I find things like this far more exciting than constantly being shown things about the actual game?

...yes.
I mean, I'm already hyped. At the same time I wish every gaming site ever would stop spoiling the middolutions of the starters. And why does it come out in Europe 5 days after everyone else? You'll have to be especially spoiler-savvy just after launch Athers.

With its mid evolution I am sticking with Rowlet. Also with the size it seems I may have to clean out my Jap 3ds or get a 64gb sd card and do that trick to get it to work

I'm stuck for who to go for, might go Popplio as I was originally going to go for Litten for a change as I never do fire starters but it seems a bit popular and I want to go for the niche choice being all original and indie like. Rowlett is very tempting though, such a different design than we're used to.

Do these people not want us to discover anything? (Also I was into Rowlet back when we saw the bow tie.)
