My girlfriend suffers from depression so getting up and out of the house is struggle sometimes for her but yesterday we went on a 2 hour walk wherever our Pokemon hunt took us and I loved every minute, it's doing a brilliant job of bringing people together, giving people a reason to get out and about and creating an amazing unity across it's players and for that this is a hugely important game. It's mostly simple stuff but it does what it does perfectly... Apart from the server issues of course, which are frustrating but I'm sure in time it'll be ironed out.

I walked about town for about 7 hours today catching Pokemon and I caught a literal buttload of weedle which are everywhere as well as ratata. Most exciting of all though, I now have six eggs four 5km eggs and two 2km ones, I'm pretty excited to see what they turn into.
Oh and I also caught the Pokemon of the month: Psyduck.

On a related note, as much of a sell out that it is, it definitely makes for improving the game, not only because it means more Pokestops but it makes for a good place to sit and use lures up, good business all around.

Oh, don't get me wrong, it's no bad thing. I just wish business types would come out and say, like, "People will like it and they'll hand us fat stacks of cash so win-win."

But how will 'fat stacks of cash' help them to maximise synergy targets and deliver higher-than-expected quantiles of growth leading into the third fiscal quarter?

So gen 2 has sort of been released kinda (in the form of hatching)

The minute Totodile's catchable, I'm running up and down the canal, for as long as it takes. Happy New Year everyone.

They've really ballsed up the introduction of Gen 2 if they're going to stagger them in to the game like it looks like they are. If they just release a few at a time it won't be long before everyone has them and then they have to wait months for the next lot, Pokemon Go works best when you've plenty of Pokemon to look for rather than just a handful.

I think they're just introducing the babies via eggs as a teaser before they launch the full shebang.

A look in to the game files suggests a staggered release though as they've only got placeholder moveset for the first 20 or so from gen 2. Could be nothing and that they've just not got around to the rest yet but itsomeday not promising.
