| It's crashed twice on Jo - she caught a Geodude and it froze, and she's literally just got a Zubat and... it froze. |

| To be fair, this a phone game that launched today. Most mobile games are soft launched without much fanfare, and aren't announced until they've been used on a variety of phones and the bugs have been ironed out. |

| Yea but even a buggy, unoptimised pvp system would be better than the nothing we get to play with now. |

| I've only just downloaded it, and just got me a Squirtle (named it MartinSquirtl). At lunch I definitely saw several people looking at phones while walking - that's when I twigged it was out today! The only trouble is that all the Pokestops round me are kids' playgrounds, and the nearest gym is the dive pub I'd never consider going to. Looking forward to seeing if my office is of major Pokemportance tomorrow. I'm old and jaded enough to know that I'll get fed up with it shortly, but I haven't paid owt.
Oh, and for those who are negative on this game's existence: it's just a bit of fun, people are talking about Pokemon again (or for the first time), and it's not going to affect Nintendo's gaming stance - by now they've learned (or should've learned) you can't pull this off more than a couple of times (is anyone talking about Miitomo now?). Just enjoy that everyone is having a nice time. I personally love that Pokemon is grinding public spaces to a halt, as opposed to casual racism. |

Fully understand and appreciate this - the game is a victim of its own success. Niamtic have to roll it out whilst the hype is high but the strain that's putting on servers is immense. |

| They'll be working double time to fix out the bugs and server issues, I'd imagine. I can't play this again until Saturday as it's caused me to use up the rest of my mobile data which doesn't refresh until then. Whoops! |

| Oh yeah, I get why it's not working, but it doesn't help me fall in love with it when I don't think the core of it is enough cop. Still, happy to see people enjoying it. |

| The biggest problem my missus and i are having is that there is literally one pokestop within 2 miles of our flat! Now its great to do all this extra walking but rural areas could for sure do with abit more populating!
On a side note i have a Rattata... called Roger.... I think that means ive completed it right? |

| As long as Roger is in the top percentage of Rattata, that's good enough for me. |

| Finally created a Google Play account for my phone, only to learn it's not compatible with my model so Made even more meh though because Google hijacked the music player and converted it in to "google music player", which is mostly like the original only now there's no way to access playlists directly and instead in their place I get told to buy songs or a subscription ( like I need any of that nonsense with over 400 pieces of music already on the phone), so YAY! F*** Google. On the actual bright side I know I'm not contributing to a slippery slope! Eh who am I kidding, I'd rather be playing this. |

| I actually went on an active hunt tonight before work and got a good haul, also have to wonder if the cops were going to check on me as I was on the side of the road catching a Pokemon before going to get dinner |

| Loads are playing in work, some are getting up before work to play and a few have never played Pokemon are playing.
The ones that have never played it or I know don't have a Nintendo system, I asked why they playing this with the most common answer being it's on something I own. |

| And then you get bombarded with "Who's that Pokemon??" Which is fine but telling someone for the 74738 time that it's a god damn Goldeen can be frustrating.
How I became the resident Pokemon "specialist" in my area I'll never know |

| PSA: don't play Pokémon GO whilst in a moving car. You'll feel ill. |

| There's always a moving van, were you driving a moving van Zero?
The core gameplay is definitely quite lacking but there's something about beating another gym and claiming it for yourself that just feels great (until someone else takes it about 2 minutes later), it's that sense that there's a living breathing gaming world that so many people are involved in, that's the magic of it. |

| Not a moving van: a passenger in our car (a Swift!) playing PGO at Jo's behest. Caught a Drowzee, though! The backbone of my recent Blue team! |

| I really like this stupid little game. I don't really care about the battling, but I quite like wandering around and catching a pokemans. I think it's just interesting enough for me to log into it every now and then |

| I downloaded it on Saturday morning, and it's been a struggle to get it working. Does it work, for anyone? It started out promising, and there I was walking through town catching Rattatas and Horseas, but since yesterday afternoon it just doesn't seem to be registering anything I'm doing. Poké Stops don't work, monsters run away, and the AR just goes mental. It's crashed on me far more than just twice, and usually after I've just caught a new Pokémon. It's not just my location either - I've tried it in Ayrshire, Glasgow and Aberdeen, and it's been borked pretty much the whole time.
Acht. This would be quality if it worked. Too popular for it's own good, maybe? |

| It was working for me yesterday, I went golfing and I've actually changed my mind about the game (not golf, I already like that) I found a pidgey and a bellsprout and a drowzee. I enjoyed opening up my phone to catch a pokémon between shots, my expectations were probably a bit high to start with but tomorrow I'm going to cycle into town and catch some more pokémon and maybe tackle a gym. Unfortunately the servers were down this evening due to a cyber attack by a group of hackers who are literally worse than team rocket. |

| Okay, I must admit, it's great coming into the office on a Monday morning to find people jumping up and down about Pokémon. That said, I had a writer's event this weekend, going through the parks of London; and I was very grateful for the DDoS attack halfway through. We actually got some engagement after that. |

Yes it is - we had a "welcome new team member" trip to the pub at lunch, and my workmates borrowed my phone to have a go catching the Pokéymans. I have a rant stored up about a couple of negative comments I've seen circling social media, but no, I'm just going to enjoy people enjoying it. Enjoying. Enjoy. |
