| As some of you may already know I wasn't going to buy this for 3ds but wait for the wii U version (feel I'd be more likely to play it more on there and actually finish it) but I cracked under how great everyone was saying it is and bought it.
So I've played up to the cargo barge mission just after you reach the colony & it really is top stuff, quite glad I didn't wait now. - Anyone else have it or considering to take the plunge? |

| I have it, though it'll be competing with M&L for my time whilst travelling to/visiting my family. I think I'm a good half way through though. |

| I barely play my 3DS, so am a little put off getting it on there & I need to get a charger for my 3DS.
But when I have played it, I did really enjoy and is the sort of thing that suites a handheld that who knows, I might turn my 3DS on one day and just download it. |

| I have joined the league of owners of SteamWorld Heist - couldn't avoid a second steam-related strategy game! My thoughts when I've had a bit of a play. |

| I finished the outskirts section on this last night & the first boss was pretty smart, also what characters are everybody sticking to? I've went for Piper, Seabrass & Ivan though I think I am going to take the one's I haven't used so much back to older missions to level them up a bit. |

| At the moment I've only got Piper, Seabrass and Sally... I just got utterly destroyed in a mission last night because I'd equipped Piper with a gun that she could only fire if she hadn't moved first. Even the default pea shooter would have been more useful than that! |

| That type of weapon is tough to get used to as you have to keep her close to the back of your group & should always be moved last. |

| I did the mission by keeping Piper back to cover Seabrass and Sally's descent from the back-up bots that kept appearing. Seabrass bought the robofarm - which was terrifying, until the game told me he'd be brought back to life. Now I've got a tactic, I'm keeping the gun. |

| I'd also say that gun may only be suitable for certain missions, like the ones that don't force you to stay on the move. |

| Having now reached the point that you mentioned five posts ago, Jas, I can answer your question. I reckon the team you arrived at might be the best, though a high-level Sally could be useful (some of the powers she gains make her an absolute killing machine). I like having the options, for sure. Also, confirmed: barring a huge turnaround between now and the end, this is a brilliant game. |

| DLC lands tomorrow! The Outsider, it's called, and will apparently blend in with the rest of the game instead of being a new chapter after the main story, or something. I am supremely up for this. Anyone else? |

| I've still not returned to finish the main story so I'll be passing for now. |

| As I tweeted, it's a pleasure to be back in this world. Loving what the DLC has added - so far I've cleared all the new bits in the first chapter and am looking forward to moving on to Chapter 2. |
