| I've seen some people kick up a fuss online about how points expire 6 months from the day you collected them, I think this is fine especially when the rewards are either games or discounts for games & it get's you using them for these rewards more often compared to Club Nintendo.
What does everyone else think about the expiry time frame? |

| As long as the rewards are more affordable then it's fine. I remember the exclusive Pokemon Nintendo DS you could get for 30000 points back on Club Nintendo which with points expiring within a year seemed neigh on impossible. |

| I think it's nonsense, quite frankly. Not a fan of expiry dates on digital content. No good reason for it. Nor am I a fan of not being able to register retail games (although I'd probably not have been bothered, like I wasn't with Club Nintendo points), or the fact that DLC doesn't count. Which obviously factors into the time limit, as it'll make it harder to get any decent amount of points in any decent amount of time.
Now, if the meatiest rewards are reasonably cheap points-wise, it won't matter if the expiry date's short too much. But are they? (Seriously, are they? I've not checked.) |

| There's no good reason for the consumer, but the shopkeeper wants you to buy more games and return again and again. I'm happy that the tactic is being used because it should be, from Nintendo's perspective. As for rewards, they seem reasonable enough to me, though the chances of anyone being able to afford them all are very slim... unless there are other things you can do to get points in My Nintendo or Miitomo coming soon. |

Both full on games Zelda picross & warioware are 1k plat pts (the highest so far) other rewards like discount vouchers etc for specific games seems to vary quite a bit but are lower than those I just mentioned. None of them seem like they are impossible to achieve, for example if you only do the minimum on miitomo and are signing into e shop/miiverse weekly you'll be getting about 660 plat pts a month so to be honest it'll all depend on how you want to spend the points. |

| The plats are fine, easy enough to make up through Miitomo it would seem (and hopefully other similar offerings to come). It's the golds I worry about. |

| It seems to be like the old premium system where you spent £50 you get £5, now if you spend £54.50 you would have enough gold for SM64. |

| Super Famicom hoodies announced as rewards on My Nintendo! Only for your Mii on Miitomo. Are we going to get physical rewards, like the old Club Nintendo? |

| I do hope that when NX comes along Mii characters can use these costumes in games, it'd make them ten times more appealing.
About physical rewards I feel they might be done for I'm sad to say, the whole system is weighted towards downloads and other things you can do online so that seems to be their A game here. I'm sad to see them go but they were frustrating as hell when you missed a chance to get them, I don't think I'd feel that way with digital only content. |
