I heard the first word on vaccines yesterday; I might get one in about three months.

For a spell I had the feeling I was maybe being forgot about since I was outside the age group that could initially book appointments then my letter arrived the other week.

First jab is this coming Sunday.

I had the pfizer jab almost 2 weeks ago now and my girlfriend had hers yesterday. Only side effect we've had is a sore arm and a bit of a headache... although I walked about 13 miles round-trip to get mine, it was very hot and I didn't bring any water

I did something similar, in that I went shopping afterwards and lugged a crate of cider home. Wasn't sure if my arm ached from that or the jab

Ooft! Thankfully my community centre is only 10 - 15 minutes walk from my house.

I went to work after my 2nd jab

I fell asleep on the couch after my first jab.

Smurf's approach sounds like the one I'll be aiming for. I could go back to work after it but... nah.

So, my first jab was done at about ten past 4 today & I was surprised at how it just felt like a little light pin prick. Also only now starting to feel a little dead arm sensation.

I have also had my first jab. It was a week ago now, but I just wanted to join in with the cool people.

All y'all were told to wait around for 15 minutes afterwards, right? In case your face explodes or something. My mum said she was basically allowed to drive home pretty much as soon as they'd taken the needle out.

Depends on what type you had, I did have to wait both times and get told when I could go.

I got Pfizer and I had to wait, as did everyone else there, but they weren't monitoring how long people stayed and just told me to keep an eye on the time myself. I guess if I'd collapsed or self-combusted or anything there would have been enough people around to notice though.

Aye mine was Pfizer also and had pretty much the same experience as Rum there.

I'm just waiting on getting given a date for my first jab now. My whole family have had both their jabs, so I'm feeling a little left out.

Got pronged today. Moderna. Two hours of feeling fine, now two hours of the arm hurting like a bastard. Fun!

The arm thing wasn't so bad for me - I was worried about having to use a computer keyboard the rest of the day. It was a bit sore for a couple of days, but the only concern I had was sorted by sleeping sideways... to the point where my shoulder had tried to stretch itself away in my sleep, which was just as bad as if I'd slept on my arm. I swear I sleep like my physics engine's gone wrong

Got my first Pfizer boi yesterday. My arm is sore but the gym was still fine, so all is good.

In that situation, I fear it'd be continually trying to crank one out if not defended by my conscious arm.

And then the second jab caused fever, tummy troubles, and a chronic headache today (as well as the arm hurting like a bastard). Off work. Even more fun!

My second jab had more impact than the first, but it basically just made me tired and groggy like a hangover. Passed within a day.
