| I genuinely don't remember having that much bother as most of you seem to have had with SotC's controls. I'm probably just better than all of you. |

| I actually thought that was a jolly good longform post from the Masster as well. I may not like the game, but fair play to the chap. Although I preferred the Simpsons .gif to Arthur's fist. |

| It wasn't showing on my screen, so changed it to Arthur. |

It's not really the layout of the controls for me as those are fine it's how those are then used to interact with the world/colossi, feels like your movement is either under or over animated and not hitting that sweet spot that the absolute best games do. |

I'm all for more FMV games. I'm intrigued, more because I'd like to see the designer's next piece of work than by the concept itself. I'd like to see how they handle it though, just like I'm interested in Dontnod's next game. The next time I have some spare change and it's on sale I'd be interested in trying out The Bunker as well. I'm more curious to see how well the FMV style holds up than the game itself though. |

| I know review scores aren't always the best barometer (I bring this up again) but I was curious after absolute best games line from Jas what the scores were for SotC and it is a game that has been released 3 times and I can't think of any others really like that and the score may changed over time.
The OG release on PS2 has a 91 on Meta with a user of 91 The remaster on PS3 has a 92 (does include Ico) on Meta with a user of 86 The remake on PS4 has a 92 on Meta with a user of 89
Seems like it has remained a masterpiece to many, just not myself and not many games have a critic and user score that are very close.
For Muss and anyone else a trailer for #WarGames which is an interactive video experience from Sam Barlow, creator of Her Story. also he's working on something called Telling Lies with filming starting back in July 2017 and I can't find anything else out about that one.
The Bunker that's from Wales Interactive (I've met those guys a few times) they have a few FMV games but they never seem to review well but like the above, that may not matter what the scores are.
On Dontnod and I guess Deck Nine as well, I will be keeping an eye on them both but Vampyr doesn't look that great but Dontnod's first game Remember Me does look interesting and I got a feeling it would be better received now then it was when it first came out, I'm hoping for it to become backwards compatible on Xbox One. |

Not trying to change anyone's mind that do think very highly of the game and yeah I agree that reviews aren't the best barometer as if I wished I'm sure I could find some that fall in line with my opinion too. Overall I personally just didn't enjoy it as much as everyone else but I do wonder especially with the remasters how much of those high scores is down to the nostalgia effect? As even on this forum those who really like it played the original and the few that don't hadn't. |

| I was curious more then anything and Smurf said on Twitter something like all these reviewers must have nostalgia for SotC, now they might and guess likes of IGN would get someone in the office to review whos played it before but do seem awfully high if based just on nostalgia as not all would have played it. Really it was the user score which shocked me the most as you see people go I want an easy mode in Dark Souls nowadays, that you may think SotC is a 6/10 where on Meta that's a 3/10 with someone going urghh why are the controls so frustrating, which would bring it right down and you see that each year with COD. It's why I don't do scores on Gintendo and only really do on here as Balla likes them. |

| I've also mentioned I can see why people love it but approaching it fresh it just didn't click with me and it seems the same with Jas. Curious to see the opinions of others who played for the first time. |

| So I had this thought on the way home: instead of doing things with the If... question, how about we undo them? IF you could fix so that one game had never been ported to the Switch, which one would it be? |

| Not sure why anyone would want fewer ports on the Switch. They're an opportunity for people who haven't played the games to play the games, what's wrong with that? The only benefit I could see to undoing such a thing would be if it meant getting back enough resource to work on some new games, but I'm not sure one Wii U port would manage that. Even the bad ones allow us to learn something: for example, now we know not to go near anything 2K Games throws near Switch! I dunno, maybe Captain Toad, because it'd slightly lesson Jay's smugness. |

| I generally agree with Balla that more games, even ports, are a good thing. But for arguments sake it wouldn't be one game I'd remove, but the increasing number of mediocre looking tat that's coming across to the Switch's e-store. Even then though, my objection stems more from searching through the catalogue being a bit of a chore as more and more games get added to it, rather than me actually not wanting any individual title on the console. |

That's a great shout, the 2k wrestling games have always been a buggy mess so I'm not surprised to hear the Switch port is awful. |

This seems like the best answer but hopefully it's there to remind everyone what not to do on the Switch. |

I mean, it wasn't, Monster Hunter Generations is the translated version of Monster Hunter Cross, not Monster Hunter Double Cross. In principle, though, you're not wrong. Monster Hunter is a megashit game for turbocucks. |

| Oh but of course.
I genuinely do think that the WWE 2K18 port, bobbins though it was by all right-thinking people's opinions, is a lesson well learned. Although (for those who like wrestling) I hope another wrestling game arrives on Switch. Are there any other big wrestling licences out there not owned by 2K? |
