| My presents have already been scattered to the four corners of the house, I'm afraid! Also the Grauniad says it's unpleasant to take pictures of all yer presents. |

| I got these, I'm guessing Zero got them for me also thanks as well on the Retro mags as I said elsewhere when talking about Retro Gamer in the thread, I saw these others but when I looked online I could only find Retro gamer. Now I know its part of games TM and it uses the font from the old micro computer magazines. |

Thank you, Santa Mysterio! Ooh you'll have to post a pic of that mh figure when you get the chance. I'll take a snap tomorrow - grub and games tonight! |

| Fallout 4 and NBA 2K15 on PS4 here. I'm a bit confused seeing as I don't think my sender has played either of these games and because he must surely know that I'm really, really not into RPGs and American sports sims. I'm not ungrateful for getting two PS4 games, but I've got to guess that the sender was trying to be funny by choosing these two in particular? |

| I've only ever really seen you say you don't like Japanese RPGs which you do like one game series of the genre Pokemon, now what's not to say Fallout 4 is the Western RPG of the genre you like.
My guess on NBA is that Fallout 4 came to most of the £15 and with the left over money, they bought the best PS4 game they could get. |

| Just found it a bit odd, was all. Definitely unexpected. I'll give Fallout 4 a chance - it's not like it's got a bad write up to be fair. My Santa stuck a bit of card saying "£WORTH SEVEN POUNDS" on the front of Fallout and "£FUCK ALL" on the front of NBA. I'll still give NBA a chance though, just like I did when you bought me Bioshock one year. |

| I got the world's smallest Etch-a-Sketch and a copy of Bloodborne! Could be anyone but I'm hazarding a guess that it's one of the Dark Souls' advocates on here. Just had a bash on it and already preferring the faster gameplay to Dark Souls (the wolf threw me at the start but now I'm past that it's brilliant fun!). |

| My Secret Santa made £15 stretch paper thin. The parcel included: - A Professor Layton car sucker display thing (too much wine, sorry) from NGamer
- A Lucas amiibo
- A Scottish butter tablet
- A vanilla macaroon
- A Hot Wheels Donkey Kong truck
- Some shortbread (ruddy love shortbread )
- Two chocolate mousse Dairy Milk Snowmen
- Two chocolate mousse Dairy Milk Snowmen
- A pair of Super Mario styli for the DS
- A copy of Scribblenauts Unlimited for the 3DS
- Guess:
There's only one forumite - heck, one man - who can make fifteen squiddies buy that much - Cappa.

| - I got...:
The Cappuccino Kid. And it looks like I have some explaining to do. I don't have many gaming charity shops around me, but I did manage to find FO4 going for practically naff-all. In GAME, of all places. For the amount of gameplay supposedly in there, it looked like a steal to me. I know you're not the greatest fan of RPGs, but I thought that, since it wasn't a JRPG, you might still get some fun out of it. NBA2K15 was, I hoped, a safer bet. I genuinely didn't know that you felt the same way about American sports games as you do about RPGs. I just knew you were into sports games. To be honest though, I struggled this year. What do you get the man who has everything, for 50p, from a charity shop? Tat perhaps, but if I recall correctly, you've received a game for Secret Santa most Christmases. So I tried to personalise things, added the "mince", and crossed my fingers. And it didn't work. Sorry sir, my error! At least the man who gets you next year can learn from my mistakes.

| You're all right Balladeer, no worries. It sounds like you bought those gifts with the best of intentions. I genuinely thought that it was a wind-up at first, but the reasons you bought me those games are sound. It's a shame if you really did struggle though - I always thought that I'd be really easy to buy for. I'll still give Fallout 4 a chance because it's not exactly meant to be a duffer. I forgot that you bought me mints and a card too - cheers for those. My recipient: - Spoiler:
*no funny gif because I'm typing this on my phone, sorry* Yeah, it was Zero Jones. The sweets are all from Scottish places and I assume that you're not able to get them down your way, and the Hot Wheels truck was unmissable for £1.66. The amiibo and game were almost different though; through trawling old threads, I decided that you'd perhaps prefer Lucas from Earthbound to Rover from Animal Crossing, and Scribblenauts Unlimited on 3DS to LEGO Jurassic World on Wii U. Hope I chose well and that you like your stuff.

Masofdas! Saw the SEGA "bookazine" on the Imagine Publishing shop and then they had some of the Retro Gamer compilations going cheap too (hence they came later). I'll be honest, I flicked through the SEGA one myself before I sent it Great read and knew it would be right up your alley! I did think of buying some SEGA games but guessing you have a lot of them.
