Cool someone has picked up FIFA but it seems there is no option to play against friends, which is really annoying.

A collection of fun little comic stories about my favourite superhero. Then, because I was getting confused feelings when I read a story centerred around Corbyn's love of the Arse, I decided to get on the feefs.

There's a big French tradition of politically satirical comic books - I like that it's trickling over here.

Here's hoping that gets fixed, it wouldn't be the first third-party Switch game to have better multiplayer options patched in.

I've been seeing Fifa on Switch also has some odd visual bugs for some people, plus with what you's have said above that's enough for me to stay clear of it.

Found out NBA 2K18 also doesn't have multiplayer with friends and some within the companies are unofficially saying it's down to Nintendo, sounds like Fast RMX all over again but that did get patched eventually.

That makes zero sense for Nintendo to do that though & why would it only affect playing online with friends?

No idea but two large companies haven't done it and they seem to be pointing the finger at Nintendo as to why, so did the Fast RMX guys but that did come when Nintendo allowed them to patch it.

I don't know if this is something to do with the paid online, and playing with friends on NBA & FIFA etc is a selling point that Nintendo want to use but Nintendo have given me Zero(Jones) reasons to subscribe to the online service.

Nintendo seem to be changing their mind every five minutes about how they want their online infrastructure to operate, so I'm guessing its been a bit awkward on third parties trying to work around them.

We are due a large infodump about how the paid online service is going to work and what the benefits will be, besides the fabled free VC game a month. If only there were some way for Nintendo to communicate directly with their fans...

Yeah I was to just about to mention that some proper details would be nice, Nintendo doesn't need to be as secretive about this stuff. (well, they don't with how it all works the bonuses etc could be left a surprise)  

Now this might not be the case but to me it seems like some devs want this side of their game handed to them on a plate from Nintendo where others have no issue adding it themselves (like Capcom with MH) so if you already have online in your game how much harder is it to make friend lobbies? Surely the Switch not having a built-in invite system can't be the only reason for some games missing this feature, I know none of us can answer any of this but the situation is just very bizarre & I don't think it is as simple as Nintendo not allowing it.

This one is properly weird, as it pulls up my friend list to give me a high score table when I do a minigame (before I did my first match I did a little goalkeeping one, then noticed the Cappucino Kid had a high score and got obsessed with beating it) so I really don't understand why I can't justpull up Zero and have a kickabout.

Probably not the place to have this talk, but it doesn't surprise me at all that Nintendo have dropped the ball on online and the VC.  They've historically been terrible at these things. Mind you, while I place the blame firmly at their door, the Switch is having such a belter of a first year that I can forgive them details such as these.

Could move the chat to the general Switch thread as all I know is what I have read and the likes of Fast RMX guys saying it was ready to go from day one but had wait to Nintendo to approve it and then it came in patch, also if I remember correctly wasn't this the same with Bomberman R.

That personally I wouldn't be shocked likes of FIFA 18 have to be approved by Nintendo to have online multiplayer the same way as waiting for Nintendo to give the green light for Stardew Valley to be released.

I'll be interested to read your take on Crash Override, sir - that poor woman.

I actually heard last night that because they were adding multiplayer to Stardew that much of the game had to be re-coded which is what caused it's delay.

That did cause the delay but once done Nintendo still had to green light it.

As does every other platform so perhaps their approval process is just more strict than Sony & MS.

I don't know but like you I can only read what people have said and its likely what Drunka said.

A new phone, a spiffy little Samsung A5. No pics because I can't be stuffed right now, totally not my being unimpressed with the giant os update taking hours to complete or anything, nope.

A few bits today,

I had delivered Fire Emblem Warriors Limited Edition for Switch and both of the amiibo which are Chrom & Tiki.

I went into town after work as I had £10 to come back in GAME as I did have the amiibo on order there but got cheaper online. I was planning to get maybe a Switch game as I sold FIFA 18 in the week as well for £40.

Out of the 4 games which came out today, they had two of them Fire Emblem which was at home waiting for me and NBA 2K18 which I may have given a bash but not for £50.

The other two games missing where LEGO Ninjago was looks decent and they could have got in but again £50 the other was Syberia which wasn't even on the system and like Treesmurf tweeted to me, it'll likely be a hard one to get.

So what I got was Destiny 2 on PS4 as a few guys a work keep asking me to play as they only have 5 for raids, DOOM strategy guide for £1 and this


As it looks cool more then anything and it's Zelda themed. I've not used but feels nice and comfy for what is a 3rd party controller with is only £25,, I doubt I'll use myself but I can now two player with two proper controllers and 4 players if I really need to.

Going to be handy for Christmas.

How much was Lost Kingdoms 2? Always been tempted by them games but doubt I'd put the time in these days.
