I did go to Exeter and got to say the PS3, 360, Wii, DS sections were awful the Wii U was decent but if I want to play Mario Kart 8, I'd rebuy it on Switch for instance but the VITA well I was shocked how good it was especially after I saw my local was cleared out



The only game I left was ones I had, an unboxed Odin Sphere and a poor condition Batman, more shocking they had doubles of some of the games and the women who served me said she bought about half a dozen games and would have got more but just couldn't afford them which is good for me.

That all I got as I couldn't afford the Jaguar in the retro game shop after that lot or the Neo Geo Pocket Colour.

After Christmas, I somehow ended up with two PlayStations and two PSOne's along with some random PS1 games which I decided to trade in the random PS1 games and one of each console.

Not normally one for old sports games as I'm not going for a full set or anything with the Cube but Virtua Striker is decent and Mario is in NBA (also in SSX on Tour meaning I'll have to get that at some point).

I've not played MGS4 since it came out and now it has trophies which does motivate me to replay it at some point compared to Folklore or a Heavenly Sword (I don't own) which never got a trophy updates.

As I had birthday money and seen the weird toy shop with retro games and hunting gear in Weston had some cool stuff in I planned to go there yesterday but I got stuck in traffic that took me about 2hrs to go 5 miles between Taunton and Bridgwater, I just went into Bridgwater instead and got



I hear Spyro is the must-have game at the moment, with these two I've now got 110 GameCube games across all regions but still a long way to pass the Dreamcast.

I wasn't sure what to get Spyro (thanks, Jay I think for convincing me to get it) on as I will be using the Xbox One for KHIII then having that retro week then Crackdown 3 will be here but I hear it's three rather easy platinum's and I'd sooner have those then a 1000g.

Rebel Strike is a bit weak BUT it contains the whole of Rogue Leader as a co-op game so if you get the chance to play that, you're golden.

"Mario is in NBA (Street V3)" hugely undersells it: it's one of the best sports games ever.

I'm not a big sports fan, I have liked the NBA street games though and Mario being in it, pished me over the edge to pick it up.

Yep now I have two Japanese VITA's, which you might think is a tad crazy but with production after 7+ years coming to an end next month (already ended in the west), they will become harder to find, become more valuable etc

The VITA already has a cult following and the games are steadily going up in price with quite a few still only on VITA and we've recently seen brand new Wii U's go for like $800 and looking at something more sensible to buy such as a PSP they're £45-£105 from CEX which I'm sure the prices have gone up on them and they're not exactly scares.

More like buy now before they do become more collectable and more expensive, meaning I can't really get one without paying the big bucks.

As I wanted one for the Japanese store which this one is set up as due to the sheer amount of games Japan got/gets we don't such as Catherine just last week and stuff planned into 2020.

Downloaded The Witness as part of PS+ but also downloaded Shadow Tactics as it's heavily discounted. Anyone tried it? Looks like something I'd really enjoy.



I also picked up Tomb Raider: GO, having blasted through Hitman: GO again.

I'd be keen to hear a bit more about The Witness actually. I wonder whether I might get on with it on Steam. It's just pretty maze puzzles, isn't it?

I think it's more than that and I've been recommended it a few times plus I have on PS4 & Xbox One but hadn't much of a drive to play it.

Witness is an all time banger. I bought it for the full 30 smack aria on launch and regretted nothing get it in you

The Witness is good! I'm not in the camp that would have paid full price for it, but the puzzles are great fun and satisfying once you figure out each gimmick.

A TV! And a pro controller and a joy-con charging grip! I can play my Switch properly again!

Its mostly been commandeered as a monitor for Shen's PC at the moment though . . .
