Zero finally playing the best 3DS game.

I got a few things which I'm going to wait to talk about on the RetroCast as that unlike regular PlayStation themed Pod of War, seems rather popular.

However I got this brand new Dreamcast game which I backed on Kickstarter years ago, this is also the first thing on Kickstarter I've actually received.

Skyward Sword for £4.99 in Oxfam.

A loaf of warburton's Toastie bread. 80p, and the only bread that fits in my toaster properly.

Yes... but Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE also helped. I immediately recognised the 3DS HOME screen jingle when you hit the FE:A icon as the level up jingle on TMS.

It's up there, though for me any game will have a hard time usurping Monster Hunter and Animal Crossing.

Ridge Racer on the PSP is absolutely superb. Don't just put that on your shelf for collecting's sake, get it played. When I played my mate's copy on his Japanese PSP back in 2004, I was gobsmacked - like, Super Mario 64 in 1997 gobsmacked. Love that game.

I will maybe give it a go.

I picked up Skylanders Superchargers from work on PS4 for £2.70, ASDA also got other games going cheap but none you could really make money on but if you want to play Kirby Robobot then £14 is worth a go.

Did seem in our store a lot of a Xbox stuff though and some of it was weird like Skylanders Giants for 3DS which came out in 2012, why has that just sat in the back up for 5 years.

Yesterday I bought: 2 SPLAAAAAATOOOOOON amiibo & a Switch pro controller, after some play time with the latter I can happily say it is my favourite controller of all time.

I may have asked this before Zero but as it was brought up recently about Video Games and the whole price structure of them, going the way of Netflix.

Just sort of wondering why get this on physical medium?

Can't speak for Zero, but I'd buy something I'd streamed if I wanted to rewatch it.  The world of streamed media is a world of things getting yanked down without a moments notice because rights expire or need renegotiation.  Also requires an intenet connection, and because life ain't perfect you can't always rely on having one of those, or having one good enough to stream something properly.  


Anyhow LOOK UPON THE HARBINGER OF THE EARTH'S DEMISE IN PLASTIC FORM!  And yes, the box is as large as it seems.  Been waiting almost a decade for the Providence to get a master grade, and for most of that time it felt like more of a wish than a wait, but now it has finally happened, and the inglorious insane genocidal bastard Rau gets some proper giant robot model kit representation!  

Also got some nice black and gold mecha action going on because that's one sweet colour scheme and that's one unique and badass mecha design.  Those scorpion-esque wings just leave me all kinds of hot and bothered!  

I'm a big fan of having a physical copy of something I know I'll watch more than once, and is part of a collection. Just feels nicer.

Also: SICK GUNDAMS! I was very tempted by some Gunpla in a comic shop in Newcastle, but as someone who is currently in the process of packing up his Transformers and moving into a more nomadic lifestyle, buying more robots would be foolish. Also, there's a new film next month which will presumably mean new robots I just have to buy.

Yeah I love physical but as we've talked about going service based seems to maybe the way things go and even yourself Drunka brought up about DVDs etc

I want it for the shelf, basically. The Internet can always go down (and has here at home for days at a time). Plus also, I can lend it to people who don't have The Net Flix so that they could get into it.

Just spent £18 I can ill afford on Cheetor from Beast Wars. It's a cool toy and I'm happy to have it, but I spent way more than I expected. It was on display in a charity shop window and I misread the label, and by the time the old lady had unlocked it I was feeling too awkward to say no. Luckily she didn't press me on the fact I'd originally said I wanted Rattrap as well . . .

Was it a Oxfam?
