| I reckon Sony would just undercut Microsoft and use it to crucify them again if they actually tried that as a console-wide scheme. The market wasn't even willing to go digital download only, only way I could see it working is if their userbase was already diminished to Wii U levels.
Either way Nintendo take decades to catch on with market stuff, doubt we'd have to worry about it for at least two more gens! |

| The thing is with digital only even if it came down to the same price as STEAM and not what it is on XBL, it is still a lot of money but if you were paying £10 a month (price of both Game Pass & EA Access) to get the games that is a completely different question.
It works with TV and Films, so why can't it with games and Spencer has basically said that's what he wants. I don't know if that means their will be EA Access, Game Pass, a Ubisoft version eg bit like Now TV, Netflix, Prime and all have their unique titles or Xbox will have one universal service.
Also how House talked about PS4 Pro and PS5, I hope all three are going their different ways.
MS focusing more on being a service but knowing not everyone has a decent PC that they'll do a Xbox for those people. Sony more traditional as in the sense you buy a console, you buy games for it. Nintendo sort of like Sony but not in the same space due the system being a hybrid. |

| Having read all the above, I just want to be surprised I think. Obviously we know about Mario Odddysssey - I don't want the "big hits" to trail off after the first 6 months. And I definitely don't want them to talk about Arms for 30 minutes, given that it's out then.
As for Sony... I don't really need any new games myself, so whatever. They should probably let everyone know how FFVII and Shenmue are getting along!
Basically I'm a spoilt white male who wants everything |

| Thanks for the post Jim as I didn't want to double combo. I do think FFVII Remake is likely to be shown but Shenmue III is extremely unlikely to be seen again at E3.
Some predictions from me:
Nintendo Pokemon Stars will be shown Xenoblade 2 will be dated for December GameCube VC to be ready after the spotlight
Sony Actual Death Stranding Gameplay Sucker Punches New IP to open the show Red Dead Redemption 2 to close the show
MS Halo 6 to be shown Crackdown to focus on Multiplayer Scorpio to be priced at $499.99/£499.99/€499.99/$699.99 Aus
Others Beyond Good & Evil 2 to be shown Final Fantasy XIII HD Trilogy to be announced Jade Raymond to show Amy Hennig's Star Wars game |

| I don't think Death Stranding really has gameplay, Koj is just taking all the funds and splashing it on hanging out with famous people/ eating sausages. |

| I'll more than likely not bother beyond Nintendo this year. I'll keep up-to-date via Twitter and that but I'm not gonna sit and watch them all live. |

| Imagine if you were a UK games journo covering all of them, and how mucked up your sleep schedule would be. |

| I've let it muck up my sleep in previous years without getting paid a penny! From what I hear, though, sitting at home is the best way to cover it. The actual LA event sounds nightmarish. |

| I will be watching it all live (well not the PC show but I hear MS will be at the PC Show that I may check it out) but I've got 10 days off for it like every year. |

| I'm most likely to consume E3 news through NintendoLife, Twitter and chatting to all o'y'all here. I think I saw a bit of a Treehouse once. |

| I'll be fully moved into my parents but probably not working yet, so that Nintendo show is getting hella watched! I'll probably keep an eye on Treehouse for much of the time as well.
As for the others, I can't be bothered to do more than catch up after the fact. Oh, sequels and shooters? Great. A CG Trailer for a game we might see one day? Brill. Urgh. E3. |

| Ach, I still like the pomp and circumstances of an E3 presentation. Sony's conference where they unveiled the FFVII remake comes to mind when thinking about great conferences of recent years. |

| I'm hyped as MS has a new console and got to try to sell it to people, meaning they should bring their A game.
Layden has said Sony's will be like last year pretty much which was game after game, with only Kojima coming on stage because he's Hideo 'freakin' Kojima then more games, with most being actual gameplay.
Nintendo are Nintendo.
The rest I'm not as fussed about as EA will be sports & Star Wars, Ubisoft will be more open-world climbing stuff games, Bethesda I'm not keen on their games but I do like some they publish.

| Rumours that Ninty's showcase will be only 30 minutes long.
You can say that's good, because it means they've cut out a lot of padding. Or you can say it's bad because it means they've not got to show. As someone who generally likes Ninty's padding (Star Fox muppets, the claymation stuff etc.), I'm a little sad. Hope they show lots of great games and not too much of SMO... |

| They're probably not going to show much of anything, as there's Treehouse for that. |

| They squeezed a fair bit into that eighteen minute Nindies presentation, so I reckon we'll still get eyes on plenty if it does end up being half an hour. |

| Why are people only just figuring this out now, when we knew weeks ago that the spotlight started at 5pm and Treehouse starts at 5.30pm, it was on the press release Nintendo put out. |
