People buy a Porsche 911 mag so they can carry it around. That way, even if they meet someone inside where they can't see the car, everyone is aware they have a Porsche.

The articles just say "You have an average sized dick. People like you. You are still young."

Ohh better not mention I've almost bought a Porsche twice. Of course not a 911 and old.

I clocked a Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon Premium Wii U bundle in the window of Cash Convertors while I was walking to work earlier in the week, before opening hours. Minty-mint in its box and advertised as having all the cables and adapters, it was only £49.99 with physical copies of both the games. I think that’s going to look crazily cheap in just a couple of years. Even in 2022 that’s a stoater of a bargain.

I had a meeting to go at 9 but once that was finished an hour-or-so later I made an excuse to leave the office so I could sneak out and make my purchase. Of course, the Wii U bundle was sold. I’d asked about it in the shop but I was told that someone hoovered it up with a load of cheap games, "Zelda and Mario". Bandit.

Not sure the Wii U will itself will become collectable or games like Super Mario 3D World, yet stuff like Croods have become expensive on the U and something can't see it be ported along with other stuff like that.

I think it would be karma, after finding all those bargains, if you dropped two crisp tenners and change on Don Bradman Cricket '14.

I wish I could bottle the Asda worker who priced that's optimism because that could save lives that stuff.

Likely someone that doesn't know about games

I know years ago when the MVG desk went they found old PS360 games, and stuff was still scanning at like £50, which was put out cheap eventually but only when it was explained FIFA 10 is 10 years old along those lines. I wouldn't be shocked if we have old PS4 FIFA's still like 14 somewhere.

Know a store EofGiz worked in when they had a refit, they found WWE WrestleMania X8 for Cube under some racking amongst old CDs and DVDs.

I like how the game box has the signature of somebody who'd been dead for 13 years.

I dunno, I imagine a fair few people on here would be terrified if that appeared to them.

I would never be scared of anyone even tangentially related to cricket, alive or dead.

Seems like I'm seeing this sort of thing a bit more in charity shops and second-hand places. It was a couple of months ago that my nearby Cash Generator was selling Super Mario 64’s box, additionally Shelter had empty Game Boy Advance boxes earlier in the year (but nothing good).

I’m kicking myself about a £50 3DS bundle I’d left behind in a different charity shop. I’d spotted it in a glass cabinet alongside an official charger and carry case, and several case holders full of about twenty-five cartridge-only DS and 3DS games. I had a look through it and clocked that everything was pink and child-friendly, it had clearly been a little girl’s 3DS collection. I just dismissed it there and then, but after leaving the shop on walking on a bit I realised that it was actually a cracking bargain. A quick check showed that those 3DS’s go for £90 at CEX, the official accessories add value on top of that, and some of the games – like Tomodachi Life, several versions of Nintendogs & Cats and a good share of Disney and Lego stuff – aren’t cheap themselves. Anyhoo, I turned back and learned it sold straight after I’d gone away – it can’t have even been five minutes later. It’s a bit annoying as I’d been looking for another 3DS, my Monster Hunter 4 one feels like it could conk out at any moment.

Everyone in Cappa's town is just another Cappa. On SNamer, the Latte Lad is telling them how he got that 3DS, and on PNamer the Frappe Fella is lamenting that someone beat him to the Aladdin case.

Of course we have a multiverse now.

Actually those "not NGamers" made me do a hunt, and it appears to be that someone started up a blog with the address ngamer.co.uk this year. We probably should've got in there...

Actually, the G isn't the letter that should change, is it? It was Nintendo Gamer, and we switched the N and G, so the other forums should have been GSamer and GPamer.

Besides, as we all know, SNamer exists in this universe. So in that alternate universe presumably it's... oh dear.

I never said anything about muliple universes, these are all different blokes in the same Scottish town who attend different online forums and have coffee-based screen names.
