| Word on the street is that there's some incredible depth here. Still not sure its for me (it definitely isn't while I'm travelling) but it does look absolutely quality. Some kids are gonna have some amazing childhoods! |

| So this is out this week, and a sheer lack of stuff in the schedule (that I can remember) means I'm more interested than I was. You know who's even more interested than me, though? Cats! |

| Cats cannot get enough of boxes. Our ol' cat used to love hopping into empty boxes at Christmas time. Although, with Labo we're one step closer to an actual keyboard cat, so rock on Nintendo, rock on. |

| I tweeted yesterday which got a few replies from someone of you yesterday about maybe cancelling mine. I've been watching the Yanks play with it and it does look good and I think I would like making all the things and enjoy that.
It's after that is what is questioning my decision to get or not as after I've built the fishing rod and caught all 10 fish then what? As I'm not going to paint it or anything like that and it just goes on the shelf.
Cue Andy's joke that's what I do with all my games anyway, decent video on PlayStation Access recently on gaming as an adult and the bit about not finishing longer games but lot's of indies.
Now Drunka had a view that that sort suits me what is a toy I like those, a collectable I like those and a game I certainly like them but I think for me it will be the middle one more than anything.
As I do think the piano is the main thing of the variety set and seen people play various songs on it already and can see Balla, posting a video on here playing the Mario theme tune but am I going to do that, No.
At £50 it's a lot a money especially with a recent £180 outlay, to spend on something I'd likely build on Saturday, play a bit on Sunday then find a home for it on my shelf to display all the creations.
I sort of wished or they do a smaller take on it, the trailer had a shotgun in it that why not something like Link's Crossbow Training for £20-25 to see what it's like.

| With all due respect Mas, I don't think it's meant for you or for many of us here. It's for children or for those sort of gamers who'd get a thrill at putting their own spin on the Labo construction kit and would have a laugh in not only building it but would find enjoyment in playing with it time and time again - like a toy, absolutely. |

| Yeah, I've decided to cancel my order. I may pick up down the road or ask for it for Christmas but I think I'll wait and see what becomes of Labo.
For now I'll stick to more collectable Nintendo toys, like the those new Splatoon 2 amiibo. |

| It's absolutely not for Norris Mas. I, however, have just pre-ordered the Variety Kit. Five or so fun little games-cum-construction projects is what I'm expecting, like Wii Play with cardboard - no more or less. I'm a massive child, so I'm expecting to get some laffs.
If I enjoy it enough I may grab the robot option, but that's the one game for £10 extra and I think I'll need to see some reviews first. Heck, it might not even fit me... |

| Yeah you're more creative than me, that I reckon you'll get use out of it. I'd still like to build and mess around with it though but I can't justify buying just for that and collecting. |

| That looks surprisingly versatile. Like, Mario Paint music-editor versatile. The first sentence on this page of posts may well be right! |

| Mario Paint was exactly what came to mind myself when I saw the editor screen. I didn't think it would be anywhere near as in-depth as that! |

| If it wasn't for me having the lie in I so desperately needed this morning I would have gone out and bought this, love all the creations people are making and its got me wanting in on the action. |

| I have just taken delivery of a large cardboard box. I wonder what it could be? The plot thickens... |

| I'm still in two minds whether or not to jump onto the Labo bandwagon, but it appears that Third Party folk are already on board. https://mynintendonews.com/2018/04/28/the-first-third-party-unlicensed-nintendo-labo-kit-arrives/
To be honest, I'd buy it for the typo on the box alone. It's got a charm about it, like Brosnan's melted face on the GoldenEye box. |

| Well, I've made the remote control 'car'/insect. Obviously the one with the least potential, but it was all presented in a charming way, and there's something very nice and childlike without being childish about putting the cardboard together. I'm not sure it'll last me for long after I've made all five toys, but it'll be a nice way to mop up a couple of hours at the weekends! |

This comment explained it nicely to me: "Honestly, I predict we’ll be seeing a lot more Third Party Labo sets because I feel Nintendo wants to make it widely accessible as it’s all about being creative, just like Lego." This is the Labo equivalent of Megablox, I suppose. |

| It's a nice idea, but I reckon Nintendo will take umbrage with how much it trades on their actual name/ logos. |

| I have seen that the devs behind Deemo have got that running with the Labo Piano and looks nifty, that it would be cool to see games support labo things and all I'm thinking about now is SEGA Bass Fishing. |
