It would be possible but nobody objected to the 14th did they and that's got the same amount of votes.

I guess Cappa's thinking is that if you do the 7th, Mas can come and you can come for a short spell, whereas if you do the 14th you'll be able to come but Mas can't come at all. The ideal weekend is the one where the most forumites can meet.

Things might be changing in work for myself and I might be able to book it as holiday with enough notice if nothing does change but I can't guarantee either of those.

Aye, the 7th would have had all of us but Buskalilly, whereas the 14th would knacker it for masofdas too. Just seeing, was all ✌️

Also Mas and Cappa haven't been able to make one yet - whereas I think you've been to two, Smurf? Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm very happy to bend over backwards/choose a date I can't make so that those two can go.

Right... we're looking at either July 7th or July 14th.

I think July 7th is looking the best bet with the hope Smurf can pop up to see us, but if you can find out if you can get July 14th off Mas, that'd be even better.

Manchester is looking like a lock too, if we're all down for that?

Only question is, when does Mas know if he's going to get his time off? The closer we get to the event, obviously the more expensive tickets will get... For those with long journeys, we want to lock in a date ASAP.

RIGHT! The 14th it is then, hopefully mas can get it off but at least we can now plan to get stuff booked (travel, air bnb etc) instead of going around in circles for another week or more.

For us in Scotland, ScotRail won't start selling tickets for journeys in July until early April, but sorting out a place to stay would be good. 👍

I think an airbnb is the way to go - we'll have a lot more freedom with an airbnb and price-wise it usually work out cheaper than a Travellodge or a hotel anyway.

This place here (for example) is only £160 per night, which one you've split it up between 6 or 7 of us ends up being a little over £26 at most. I think in most scenarios we'll have to have somebody sleeping top and tail in a double bed, but we've had to do that before in the Travel Lodge anyway. Have a gander over on airbnb and see what you think.

I'm down for heading over on the Friday night and spending both Friday and Saturday night there this time - it'd give us a bit more time to play with over previous years. I understand that won't work for everyone, but it'd be cool if we had even a few folks keen for that.

Top-and-tailing, not so much. I don't mind if y'all want to make plans that involve that, but I probably will seek out accommodation that allows me to have my own room. Sorry gents.

I mean, there are single beds in most of the airbnbs, so we can work something out if need be. It'd just be ideal to have us all in an airbnb, plus it makes it cheaper for everybody too.

Even though I probably won't be there, I cannot stress enough how much better it would be in a decent Air BnB than another travelodge, all crowding into a bedroom and trying to play on a tiny hotel TV.

I thought that was the plan a Air BnB, so we get a decent TV in a front room.

Air BnB for sure, then all round to Balladeer's gaff for a top-and-tailing gangbang.

I'd be up for heading down on the Friday and staying until the Sunday night. Hopefully folk would be up for heading out too - I'm happy to play games and that, but not just do that only.
