| We've not had a retro magazine update from gJones since Novembers issue of NGC, I did ask him about it and seems it won't be continuing and I did talk to Zero about something and seems he & Jay has plans to being back the lets all play when the paid only launches for Switch and we get our free NES games. As I don't really know where to look for the magazines, this is the best I can come up with and is just a trail thing and if you like and gets similar engagement as the magazine version from gJones. - Nintendo Games of March 2003:
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - Just the 97 from NGC and has a 94.43% on Game Rankings for my favourite Zelda
Sonic Advance 2 - came to the GBA and has a 85.65% on Game Rankings
Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire - A GBA classic which got a 90 from NGC and has a 84.12% on Game Rankings
Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc, NGC gave the Cube version 84/10 and their is a GBA version which have a 78.08% & 82.34% on Game Rankings respectively
Mega Man & Bass - came to GBA and has a 79.47% on Game Rankings
Disney Presents Piglet's Big Game - GBA has a 80% on Game Rankings with Cube version having 67.33%
Samurai Jack: The Amulet of Time - A GBA title with a 64.55% on Game Rankings
Tom and Jerry in Infurnal Escape - came to GBA and has a 63.67% on Game Rankings
WWE Crush Hour which got a 43 from NGC for the Cube version and has a 54.03 on Game Rankings
Superman: Countdown To Apokolips - Just the 45% on Game Rankings for this GBA title
Ed, Edd n Eddy: Jawbreakers! - The worst GBA game of the month with a 39.75% on Game Rankings
Batman: Dark Tomorrow - This got a 15 from NGC and only has a 27.83% on Game Rankings, a Dark Day for the GameCube
My Thoughts: I would have got Wind Waker and that's it in March on a Nintendo platform
- Nontendo Games of March 2003:
Amplitude - A Cult Classic PS2 game which the PlayStation Version of NGC gave 87 and has a 85.38% on Game Rankings
Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner - Got a 79 from PSM and has a 83.45% on Game Rankings for a game you'd think i would have played but nah I didn't
Primal - Got a 79 from PSM and is one of my fav PS2 game in-till I played the port of PS4, it has a 76.81% on Game Rankings
Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis - I played on Xbox which it has a 70.87% on Game Rankings and the PS2 version has a 74.54% which PSM did review with a 61.
Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22 - Was a NEW PS1 game in March 2003 and has a 32.03% on Game Rankings
My Thoughts: I only picked out some stand outs of the time and myself only picked up Primal which was present and Jurassic Park

| I've not had the time to be honest, and much of the early Wii stuff didn't exactly pique my interest. With the rest of the forum playing on their Switches, I didn't think it would be missed much.
Either way, 2003 is one of my favourite years for games. Of the games in March, I've always wanted to try Rayman 3, especially as Rayman 2 is highly regarded. Wind Waker never connected with me but I'd love to give it another chance.

I certainly have and I know Cappa was a fan. Yeah, Wii never got me that excited but GameCube on the other hand and why I went for March 2003 and not March 2008 first. |

| Bloody loved Ruby and Sapphire. They were my last Pokémon games for a long time - at least until X and Y - but I spent a hell of a lot of time with them. They could very easily be my favourite if I wasn't so heavily influenced by nostalgia when it comes to Pokémon.
I think my thoughts on Wind Waker are well documented by this point, but what a cracking month to be a Nintendo fan that would have been! |

| ...those aren't my thoughts on Wind Waker, those are yours. Just wait until the March 2017 edition of this in 15 years time. |

| It’s just the Big Nintendo Two of this month for me. I played through The Wind Waker on my Wii fairly early during its life and loved it fairly thoroughly - my favourite 3D Zelda until Skyward Sword (come at me, SS haters - I think you’ll Fi-nd that I’ll take you down - down to Skyloft town). Very much later than even that, I got a copy of Ruby (played Emerald back in the day). Gen Three did not impress me much, I’m afraid to say - much preferred Four, possibly because I managed to finish the Pokédex on Pearl. |
