Also I've realised that I'll have just started my new job (ANNOUNCEMENT: I'm starting a new job, that is all) on the day of E3, so getting home by 5/slacking off to watch it in the office won't be an option.

EA have changed their plans, they will no longer be doing three days of streaming, instead they will just be doing something on the 8th of June, which I believe is 22 days away.

I guess they don't want to show too much of their games in case folk realise they're shit before they release.

Or becausr as ever they won't have much to show.

I'm guessing they'll just show Star Wars as no one needs to see someone play FIFA 20.

We're getting a Pokémon Direct on the 5th of June, that could argue this kicks off E3 along with them likely going you'll see more at E3.

I imagine it'll be similar to what they did for Let's Go - a focused look during a Direct/Presentation and then a shorter snippet in the core E3 Direct.

I'll be honest I totally skimmed past that, much like I have with the game itself, it's decent enough I just have no urge to play it after doing so at launch, I think I'm over battle royales perhaps.

Spencer have confirmed that 14 Xbox Game Studio games will be shown.

That's more games then studios unless Playground are showing Forza Horizon 4 Expansion 2 and Fable 4 for instance

Or likes of Battletoads which Game Studios are publishing.

Thursday June 6th at 5 pm is the Google Stadia conference which will include games, price and launch details etc

The first conference is today (if you can call Stadia stuff a 'conference') and it's only five days until E3 Proper (or rather, four days and nine hours). Anybody excited? Anybody hoping to see anything?

I think I've been too distracted by the new job to get properly E3xcited (sorry), but I'm definitely up for some big new games. I'm hoping we get a fair amount about Luigi's Mansion 3 and not too much about FEH, which seems to have got a fair (or should that be 'feh') amount of attention already. I'd also like to get a release date for Daemon X Machina, which seems to have dropped off the radar entirely. Some information about Metroid Prime 4 wouldn't go amiss either, and I expect we'll see Animal Crossing too.

Other than that, it's all about the surprises, natch. Who haven't we seen for a while? Could we get a new Donkey Kong? Do I care if so? Tough questions... I would like to see a new big one-player adventure game, but that's what I always want.

I do think Stadia could either be a massive conference or a damp squib as they have a lot to prove still as to why both Sony and MS maybe Nintendo see them as such as a threat.

On Nintendo I think as much like last year it's looking at 2019 games, I'm not sure if we get that many surprises as to where are you fitting them in if Mario Maker 2 is June, Fire Emblem and Marvel is July, Astral Chain is August, Pokemon is November

With the financials telling us Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion 2, Daemon X Machina and Links Awakening HD are all 2019 that's one for September, October, December and for Daemon X Machina to be delayed to 2020

However, it is a 45min direct which could show SMASH DLC, New Ports, Indies, Dragon Quest etc as well as the Nintendo games.

Xbox has to go big or go home.

It's going to be 2 hours long conference the 3rd parties like Harry Potter, Cyberpunk will likely be there and we now know 14 games from Xbox Game Studios will be shown and I don't think that counts stuff like Ori 2 as that is published by Xbox Global Publishing that in my prediction video I could think of 18 Xbox Games (that was just 13 XGS games as well but I am counting Outer Worlds).

I wouldn't be shocked to see the new console in conjunction with some of those 14 games either, an indie sizzle real and to see a Nintendo partnership Banjo for SMASH.

Also, Fanfest will be shown live and Inside Xbox will have an E3 episode that could see some more indies popping up or likes of Halo Reach being it's out now in the MCC or new Backwards Compatible games.

The others I don't care that much for Ubisoft will have something neat and I'm playing more of there games recently but not super excited.

Bethesda couldn't really care less unless Arkane shows up with Dishonoured 3 or something.

Kinda Funny, they've said they will have 60 games which will be mainly indies but the last showcase we had Judgement from SEGA that could be a big game also with 60 games has to be some good ones.

Then Square I'm super excited about as we're going to see Avengers, Final Fantasy VII Remake a new game called Outriders and could we even see Final Fantasy XVI

Truthfully I'll be quite happy if they dedicate 30 minutes of the Direct to Animal Crossing like they did Smash last year. I do think we'll have a few suprises and even some stuff for 2020 as they often say they'll focus on a certain time frame and they still announce something for the future. I'll take a look at the Square-enix conference for the Avengers game alone and curious to see what Ubisoft have to offer too.

My inside sources tell me we'll see the announcement of an Xbox console, Live and Game Pass bundle that you pay for monthly. Also PUBG for the Switch. These might not be at E3 but they're coming.

Did we get any surprises last year as I remember Reggie talking about Yoshi and why it wasn't shown.

I run better than PUBG does on Xbox One that a Switch port could possibly be the worst running thing on Switch.

I wonder if your insider is talking about SAD and Ultimate Game Pass which just came out or the rumoured affordable verison of the next Xbox.
