| You know what, I actually like a lot of the new Gen 7 ones! I think I'd chuck the two sandcastles; they just look a bit of a mess. That's all I can say, really. |

I think it was AA6 and then the Switch that distracted me from ever finishing off Sun. Erm, probably the sandcastles, yep. They look a bit shit. I'm also 99% sure I've seen those grass type Pokémon at the start of the fourth row before in another Pokémon game, so points off for looking like retreads. |

| Sandyghast and Palossand? I agreed with you both when they came out, but I would actually keep them now... the idea of haunted soul-stealing sandcastles is excellent fridge horror brought to (un)life in the Pokédex entries. That said, they're going as things stand. +1 to the Bounsweet family, the Oddishes do the same idea better.
Jim, did you just defend all other Gen. 7 Pokémon? |

| Sandyghast and Palossand definitely have to stay, they're iconic in relation to this gen as far as I'm concerned. I'd also like to protect the Pikipek line, certainly not the most creative but they're cute enough for me until they reach the tough even if admittedly grumpy final stage and much like the Sandcastles feel like an important part of Alola. |

| The sandcastles are saved - for now. (As are the birbs.)
Any last suggestions before I close this game? Apart from telling Jay to go finish Sun, best Pokémon game there is IMHO. |

| Considering that I'm going to need to seriously curtail my new game purchases (or any game purchases) for the foreseeable future as I steadily furnish my house, that'll probably happen sooner than later! |

| Right! That brings us to the end of this little game: I hope it was fun. Here's the complete list of deaded 'Mons as voted on by GNamer: - Spoiler:
Spearow Fearow Diglett (non-Alola) Dugtrio (non-Alola) Seel Dewgong Grimer Muk Onix Exeggutor (non-Alola) Tangela Jynx Tauros
Unown Pineco Forretress Dunsparce Steelix Slugma Magcargo Corsola Stantler Magby Smoochum

Magmortar Dialga Palkia Heatran Regigigas Giratina Phione Arceus
Patrat Watchog Roggenrola Boldore Gigalith Timburr Gurdurr Conkeldurr Tympole Palpitoad Seismotoad Sewaddle Swadloon Leavanny Basculin Tirtouga Carracosta Gothita Gothorita Gothitelle Alomomola Vullaby Mandibuzz Heatmor

Fomantis Lurantis Bounsweet Steenee Tsareena Turtonator Bruxish Jangmo-o Hakamo-o Kommo-o Stakataka
My main surprise omissions are Goldeen and Seaking, Krabby and Kingler, the Klink family, the Vanillish family, and Maractus. Overall though, I think that's a good list of 112 monsters that we could get rid of forever, and nobody would miss them or kick up a fuss. Good job team! |

| Bugger me, we didn't half give Gen IV and V a kicking, did we? Cheers for running this thread Balla! |

| Glad you enjoyed it! I think that’s understandable - V was a reboot if you like, a copy of 1, so once you add 1 back into the mix it starts to look a bit superfluous; and... IV was rubbish. |
