That’s from the same guy that made Toree 3D, Toree 2, MacBat 64 and Regina & Mac. His newest game to date (Beeny) is a prequel to Super Kiwi 64 and – spoiler alert! – the final level of that is (I presume) the opening level of Super Kiwi 64.
Good to know Super Kiwi 64 is out tomorrow. It should be good – the rest of those games I listed are.
Speaking of 3D platformers, I wanted to bring this to people's attention. Lunistice looks like the sort of PS1-esque 3D platformer fans of e.g. Toree would get a kick out of, but bar Ninty Life's 9/10 review I've not seen it mentioned anywhere. Might get some wishlisting around these parts?
Unlike The Outbound Ghost in its current incarnation, apparently.
Well over a thousand games have been discounted, though disappointingly few from my own 50-odd game wishlist. Anything standing out for youse? The one I immediately saw and thought 'bugger me, what a bargain that is' was Huntdown at 80% off for £3.59:
Cracking game. James Pond II has also made an appearance in the eShop charts because it's only £1.99 - what a time to be alive!

I will hopefully get on the Lunistice at some point. I daren't look at the sale; spending small amounts of money is still more than spending nothing...

I almost bought Yooka Laylee, a game people tell me is shit, just because it's cheap. Luckily my new card didn't work and I couldn't be arsed to fix it.

Nah Yooka Laylee is alright, certainly for the £3 odd it costs, I do hear the sequel is the better game though which is more of a Donkey Kong Country than a Banjo Kazooie.

+1 to Impossible Lair being great. It's baffling that a game as terrible as Yooka Laylee could produce a top tier platformer for a sequel, but my goodness they killed it.

+1 to Impossible Lair being... er, good. It's really solid, like really solid - but it's so bereft of anything new in its levels, with the possible exception of a couple of the B-sides or whatever they're called, that I don't think Buska's missing out on much if he overlooks it. And I still think the Lair is pants. Still good, mind.

I've gone a bit eShop mad, I've gone and bought the Fire Emblem Engage Expansion due to the upcoming Fell Xenologue
Storyteller as it's reviewed okay & its Annapurna
A Space for the Unbound as it's been on sale and Balla has recommended it (also has reviewed well that was on my radar anyway)
Gurumin 3D for 3DS as been seeing some last minute get these eShop games NOW! And this showed up on one of them, I was thinking I'd just get on PSP but that is a £50+ game meaning £15 on 3DS meant more sense

Got looking at the eShop sale because seen stuff how it's the best one yet etc still I got some recommendations
New Super Lucky's Tale £8.09, great 3D platformer which reminds me of the PS1N64 era
GRIS £3.62, was in my Top 10 Switch game for years as it's a quality piece and Behind the Frame for £7.71 also if you want this sort of thing
Catherine: Full Body £13.49, a Top 100 game of mine and seems cheap for what it is and load of SEGAtlus stuff on sale like Persona 3-5, SMTIII, 13S etc
INSIDE £1.69, I feel it's a tad overrated yet at this price worth a punt
Divinity: Original Sin 2 £22.49, apparently one of the best games on Switch and it's half price maybe on you want to give it a go
Portal Companion Collection £8.09, one I may pick up myself as I hear it's a great port and I've never played Portal 2
The Outer Worlds £16.49, not sure how it runs on Switch but has to be one of the best WRPG on the system
The Suicide of Rachel Foster £1.69, enjoyable walking sim
Hue £1.99, colouring matching 2D platformer from friends of EofGiz and guys I've met a few times
Wavetale £19.99, I played this on Stadia and was one of the very best exclusive games on that which more get to play now
Some for me that maybe you can tell me about Kaze for £4 is it more Sonic or DKC, Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions £7.99 is better to wait for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, New Tales from the Borderlands £14.99 did anyone play this and same goes for Jack Move £10.84 which was a well received indie RPG, Once Upon a Jester £9.09 was in a Nindie thing & looked intrestiing

I've never played a Sonic game but Kaze is a carbon copy of DKC gameplay, except without the spectacle. Not recommended, not on Switch, especially since it crashed on me several times. On which topic, Nintendo Life also say that Wavetale performs awfully on Switch, so that's something to be wary of. NSLT was a 6/10 for me and so is probably worth it at that price.
Thanks for noting about Jack Move, I've been casting around for a new game and thought I'd take the plunge. Impulse-bought Hue at 80% off too. I had a look at Once Upon a Jester and got big... What's that puzzle-platformer thing where you play a cheerful bard and it looks a tad Terence and Philip? Anyway, I got big that energy, so passed on it.
