How Do You Browse GNamer on Mobile?

Asking mostly because I've yet to find a satisfactory answer myself.  The desktop site is horrible to type messages into, the mobile site misses out a lot of functionality, the last time I used Topic'It it was not good...  How do you get about here on smartphones?  Is there another option I haven't seen?

I do bigger, longer posts on the desktop site, and wee shitey ones on the mobile site. This is a bigger, longer post.

I am sitting at a desktop while typing this. If I relied on typing on my phone, I'd probably be banned for spamming nonsense. (Well, more nonsense than usual)

I tend to use my laptop for browsing the forum, but I'll use the desktop site on my phone from time to time and just make liberal use of the zoom in function.

Desktop site on mobile, only issue is sometimes things like use bold or youtube link is missing otherwise it's fine. I can't get on with the mobile site as I can't tell what's new or not I like to go into the new posts section thing.

If a big post like I will be doing in a minute and why I'm on my laptop now, I use the laptop.

I only use the phone if I have something I desperately want to share, and when I do it's desktop version all the way.

I use the laptop ideally, especially for long posts, but I do use my kindle for general scrolling.like right now.I'm in the bath.

That sounds... fatal.

So it's sounding like people either just don't use mobile, or don't have a problem with using the desktop site. Not ideal, but I guess it's what we have to work with.

Whoops I put mobile site but I use the desktop site through mobile and it's fine, the mobile site is rubbish because it's missing a lot of features. On the topic of topic'it, stopped using it ages ago but got an email the other day to say it's disappearing so that's not gonna be an option anymore anyway.

Oh no, what a shame.

I think it's meant to be replaced by something new and supposedly better - if anybody on mobile gets a prompt to download the new app, please let us know so we can tinker with it if need be as I think it's something we're meant to have more control over.

Oh okay, that's hopeful! I want to waste time here over any other place on the Internet, but at work that's a pain.

Lads everything has changed. I now get notifications on my phone of replies to watched topics. I can click them and go straight to the thread. Mobile browsing is suddenly viable and convenient and more like using social media.

I get that for some threads but not all of them.

Doesn't really do anything for me though as always seen the Gmail pop and click on that and bam with no issues.

I guess? It then takes me to basially the desktop site but sized for a mobile screen. Pretty small letters but I have great eyesight.

I can try and see if I can tinker with the size of the font if it's a real bother, so let me know!

Nothing's happening for me. Did it just appear like that without you having to do anything, Drunka (and anybody else for whom it's working)? Did you have to download an app.? What browser do you use? Sorry for the avalanche of questions, I'm just... not getting anything.
