This has had a bit of a push from the Nintendo's Socials as it's out soonish and I've actually given it a preorder as where it lands not a lot else coming out & it might be fun online with you guys.

Also seems physical version preorders come with a pen and a notepad.

That pen is worth £300 on it's own anyway, and the notepad is sure to have NWC Gold cart levels of collectability, so it's actually a total steal.

Even more so if you literally steal it.

I took one look at the Poker game and in that instance I knew it was for me, it's not like it even does anything special with it or any of the other games, it just looks like most of them will be really easy to play with anyone.

What do we reckon to them adding more games in the future making the title even more redundant than it already is (there's a game #52 I believe).

Ah, that'd be sweet if the title is already nonsense. I reckon they'll add: Rummikub (secretly the best game), Don't Wake Dad, Clu-Clu Land.

I know I'll have two less games as bowling and darts needs a joycon.

I suppose £135 makes it just about worth it, if you need a JoyCon for the target practice game as well then you've been ripped off.

Why do you have safesearch off on your work computer? Eh? Mine's set permanently to 'Strict'.

Incognito mode ignores all that stuff.
Also it's in Japanese and I don't know how to change most of the settings.

The reviews are piling in, and they're great!

I've had my copy pre-ordered for weeks now, very much looking forward to it. Is anybody else on board?

Online sessions aren't a suggestion, they're an instruction, and anybody that doesn't buy this game will be banned from GNamer forever (and I'll ban them, everybody knows I run this place).

...I'm (maybe) ((half-kidding)) about that, but I'm really, really looking forward to this.

I really wasn't too sure on it if I'm honest but aye this Eurogamer review that I read yesterday pretty much convinced me.

I've finally signed up for proper home internet, but even before that arrives I'm hoping this will be on the Animal Crossing/ trading Pokémon level of internet intensity, so I'm all about GNamer sessions.

I really want it, looks great from what I've seen, hoping to pick it up next week perhaps, will give me a few days to see how well received it is in the wild.

I've been lied to by reviews, I can play bowling and darts with the touchscreen but do find it sort does what it wants though.

Also played some of it, I'm going through it with the little figures telling me about their selection of games, playing around then moving to the next character with their batch. Once I've played all 51 games (52 if you count piano) then I'll have some more thoughts on it.

But does feel like the game I want on Switch as I played myself late last night watching some Simpsons (I've watched about 4 seasons since having Disney+) or a Podcast, very much a portable pick up and play game.

I've spent a couple of hours with this so far & it's good stuff, though I think most of my overall play time with it will be from playing you guys. So time to step up and get yer arses handed to you in darts. Thumbs Up! (And maybe some other games too)

Got this in the post yesterday too, and echo Jaster's thoughts about it being good stuff and general online arse-handing.

The first game I booted up was Tanks. Disappointingly, it's just three stages across four difficulty levels. The game gave me a trophy and said I'd mastered it after fifteen minutes. I was really hoping we'd get a lengthy campaign like in Wii Play  Aww!

I always think how easy it must to be to put a season mode into these mini-games, a la Rocket League. Stick some trophies or stickers in there for achieving certain things - are there "achievements" in this?

There's a medal system that is tracked in your characters stats but as TCK said most of those are for winning against the CPU at various difficulty levels. My guess is they don't want to distract from the games themselves too much so you are at least pushed to either play this locally with people or online.

Wii Play tanks was truly tremendous. I don't even think I ever beat it 100%.
