Four me? Yes! ...terday I bought.

There's something about the artwork on those Panasonic games that I really like. Guess it just reminds me of how things looked when I first started realising that games were a thing.

I've ordered some games of eBay and a stores selling page on Facebook, once all of them have come I will post here.

I'm not too sure if nice artwook or not on those, some of the softcore porn games have interesting artwork



That's not mine as I've not got £250 to spend on something like that.

Anyway all my 3DO games I've ordered have now come, now some I know about like Street Fighter II which is a Japanese import and some like Slayer not a clue

The lure of getting a new, PAL, on disc Wii game in 2020 was too big to resist, even at around £40. I'm in two minds about opening it. It's obviously going to be a collector's item and be worth much more than £40 in years to come - especially if it's sealed - and I could just get it on Switch for about a tenner and play it there. Then again, games are meant to be played...

...what do youse think I should do?

As someone that likes to collect games and have some sealed ones, can see why you'd want to keep this sealed and maybe even grade to get that next SMB on NES but I feel it's the sort of game everyone will do that with.

Thanks to Cappa I got TC for £1.99 new & sealed which has gone onto the Wii collection. Also picked up Yoku Island on Xbox for £6, waiting for it arrive, I got because I started the game via Game Pass because it was leaving and I got distracted but do want to go back to it with this being cheaper than even buying of XBL with my Game Pass discount.

Do also have FIFA and PGA coming for 3DO which they both seem impressive for the time.

I'm always picked up some things digitally but download a bunch via the Xbox Summer Sale and Summer Showcase last week

Silent Hill: HD Collection, I know it's a crap port but it was £6 compared to £33-40 on PS2 for the two games
Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, Means now on Xbox (Only missing Curse of Darkness on OG Xbox) alone I have access to 13 Castlevania games and all three Bloodstained games (Two are via services) and with other systems included think I can play 17 Castlevania titles in total

You know how I was in this apartment for two years before I got internet? Did you also know I'd been sleeping and generally living on a futon on the floor that whole time?

Well, I got a stimulus check from the Japanese government a little while back and picked myself up a sofabed. It came on Monday. It's been lifechanging.

I'm thinking of doing a little tour of my flat video at some point; just one or two more little things to take care of.

This just reminds me whenever I buy a place (which might not be till next year based on advice from mortgage broker), I'm going to have to get things like sofas

Our sofa bed is genuinely more comfortable than our actual bed. Some would say that's the mattress' fault, but they're wrong: a good sofa is always more comfortable.

On the subject of house buying, I guess this should be in the "didn't buy" thread, but we've been trying to by the house my parents rented since October last year. First the council were busy, and now they can't send someone round because of the ol' COVIDs. It's really frustrating, because unfortunately the last year has taught me that you never know what's going to happen round the corner.

Probably in the council's interest to keep you guessing to be honest... Hopefully not. All the best Jim.

Well not definitely, but when we got a good mattress the difference was huge. 'A good mattress' was almost a thousand pounds though! I imagine you can get a pretty decent sofa for that...

Get one of those podcast mattresses.

Random stuff. Those discs were 4 for a £1, those GBA games were 49p each, and Pocket Bombeman was a tenner (and in excellent condition too). Those Evercade cartridges just came out today, that NBA game is new and sealed for £9, and the Disney football game is supposed to be a genuinely good game.

Looking forward to a Catz AND Dogz bumper review.
