My Thoughts: I will be picking up Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Kingdoms of Amalur on Xbox One and that's it.

I will be keeping an eye on Avengers as looks better than I thought and with me waiting for PS5 version I can see how the live service aspects go such as new content & community. Same with NBA will keep an eye on it but as I said before Madden is the sports game I most likely to get on PS5 also the upgrade behind an £85 version of NBA is  Thumbs Down...

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim I hope comes to Switch as it was meant to be on VITA and even had a physical demo thing in Japan but ultimately it got scrapped for VITA that a Switch version could be a good replacement, if not then I'll pick up at some point to play on PS5 via BC.

Then we have the Netflix anime of Dragons Dogma which I will checkout as could be as good as Castlevania.

Anyway what about you guys?

Nothing; world ending; backlog
WTF is Big Bobby Car? *Googles* might be based on one of those car ride things you get at shopping centres to keep your small kid quiet for a bit
Is Willy Jetman any good? It sounds like it's trying to tap into a certain type of nostalgia, and that can be hit or miss. Does look quite good Metroidvania-wise though.

Sounds like it's trying to raise a couple of giggles from its title to me.

Oh - and nothing next month, natch. A fair bit that released at the back end of this month!

Yeah I've got lots to play seemingly just come out or over the next few days but this is the first month if I was just Nintendo think I'd struggle as least previous month's had a decent port or two.

As a Nintendonly gamer I can say I'm drowning in eShop games I want to play. Laughing Creature in the Well got a 35% discount and I just couldn't justify buying it right now with everything else going on. Got NSLT staring at me from my table too!

I'm going to be playing some NSLT myself soon as well

I'm not touching Avengers with a bargepole unless it surprises me and reviews really well and I can wait on picking up THPS until a sale, so mercifully for me... nowt!

I'm guessing it's for other reasons but how you've recently played Destiny and Final Fantasy, I could imagine if you got into Avengers that be all you play.

I'm holding off till next gen on it but three games doing similar Avengers, Outriders and Godfall, which I don't need three games like that so want to see who else is playing, reviews etc

That's just most publishers trying to get a piece of that popular pie of having a *spits* live service game.

I'll get Crusader Kings 3 at some point. I've spent a lot of time playing the previous version. Not interested in an awful lot else.

I'm definitely trying to steer clear of games that want me to play them regularly, especially as I'm still dipping into FFXIV every now and then. But, I'm more dubious about Avengers from a quality standpoint. I think it'll be a thoroughly average time.

Did you see the thing about how in an opening QTE sequence with Thor it just hangs there until you press the button?

This is one of those months I'm glad I have other commitments to pay for because I could easily buy plenty here that I don't need and wouldn't play enough.

CrossCode and Tony Hawk are the main ones I definitely want. I'm also tempted to get Avengers because friends are (otherwise I'd have zero interest), Invector Aviici is definitely on my list after playing the demo, was a fun rhythm game that got quickly addictive and given it's not a full price game I could see myself getting that sooner rather than later.

Void Bastards has been on my wishlist for a while so a physical version would be more than welcome and annoyingly once again I feel tempted by PES knowing full well it's nothing more than a kit/team update (at least they're being honest about it unlike FIFA with their "legacy edition" bullshit).

I'm really struggling to understand the Avengers hate. It really feels like people have had it in for this game since the reveal of the not MCU cast. I played the beta and really enjoyed it and am looking forward to playing the full thing. I don't think it's going to be anything mind blowing, but a fun brawler where I can play with my favourite Super Heroes sounds pretty solid to me.

The stuff with the QTE is particularly dumb to pick on, the only options there are insta-death, meaning you have to wait for a load to respawn or it has to hang at some point. I know I prefer the latter as I don't intend to leave my QTEs hanging for an extended period of time...

From what I've seen of people playing, think most are enjoying and know it's nothing special. It's just a fun 7/10 sort of game, especially with mates be a laugh.

It's just odd when most other games that have QTEs have some sort of fail condition or at least push you toward a different variation of the scene if you did happen to hit the wrong button prompt. Some folk are definitely going overboard with their views on it but like Buska I just thought that QTE thing was funny.

My only real issue with it is that it doesn't look up to the same standards as things like Batman and Spiderman and I feel like that's down to opportunistic design choices more than anything. The whole battle pass, exclusive DLC things don't bother me that much, everyone is doing that anyway and the complaints about them not looking like the actors is just stupid.
