In all seriousness though that 9 player session was a blast. Looking forward to the next time we can go again.

I'd probably still be shit at the game anyway but I found it so hard to not piss myself whenever I did something and Kelly (who was in the same room as me) didn't know.

Aye that was top stuff! I was honestly unsure of the game before but it produced so many funny moments that I'm well up for playing more.

Yeah I think once we hit that 6 player mark or above it was really good.

I'm not sure when would be best for people going into the festive period but I'm open to suggestions. I'm off work until Jan 4th so I'm pretty good for whenever. Would normally default to a Saturday evening but that's boxing day this week. Mind you, with these new restrictions have opened up some more time for me.

Otherwise I can definitely do the 2nd.

For those who weren't there yesterday but are still interested, we had people using phones (free) Switch and PC to play the game on and it worked fine. There were a few server issues at the start but everyone who wanted in got in before too long. We even had Buska join us from Japan without any problems.

For anyone wondering about which version is "better." I'd say there are some tasks that are easier with a mouse, some with a controller, and some with a touchpad but there's no real advantage to be gained there to be honest.

The real game is in the deduction.

Yep, the only one I had an issue with on switch was the spinning dials in electrical but that was my own mistake for not realising you highlight each dial then press A at the right time. I'm sure if we give like at least days notice we can still get a decent sized group over the holiday period, also I'm interested to see what the other maps will be like.

If folks are off work between Christmas and New Year, I can do the 28th, 29th or the 30th with no issues. Failing that, the 2nd would be a-okay for me.

I'm 100% up for another round of this. I had a blast last night - which is partly due to the vodka, but mostly due to the game - and I would like to prove my innocence to you all once again.

Yes, I couldn't work that one out either on pc. Kelly had to show me how to do it haha. The reactor one is also hella long and resets if you mess up.

Yup had that happen with the reactor a couple times then realised it's just counting from 1 to 10.

This was bloody great, by the way. And after a successful career as a psychopath in Among Us, I went on to win two back-to-back games of Catan later that day, also with some devious play.

Aye, I just don't think I'd get the same out of Among Us without a) playing it with people I know and b) speaking to each other over voice. It really enhances the experience.

I don't understand when you said that or when you mean

It was another fun session on this last night, I felt like we really got into the swing of it with all sort of blame flying everywhere.

I found it so funny that almost every time I was the imposter, it turned out that a couple of crewmates were already suspicious of each other and throwing shade come the first meeting

Feel like we had a pretty nice set of rules as well for the 7 player game. I reckon 8+ is the sweet spot for that second imposter. It's difficult for the imposter to win, but it definitely happened enough for it to feel fair.

We'll definitely be doing another round of this on Saturday evening.

Joining us will be at least 1 new player (non-forumite, possible a couple more depending), so if anyone fancies a go with some other newbies then that would be a good time. If anyone just wants to watch, I don't mind sharing my screen. Could potentially record some of rounds (with people's consent of course) but I haven't set up recording stuff on my new machine yet.

I wouldn't say there's a huge learning curve, it's a simple game at heart, but it does help you play better mindgames/sniff out imposters better, once you've got some experience under your belt.
