I tweeted on May 31st one word Thursday, that's what I heard but who knows with Nintendo.

I'm not going to make any predictions and try to just enjoy it. The Pokémon and Zelda and Ace Attorney games I already know are coming are plenty on top of what I'm already playing, so anything else is a bonus.

E3 has put this out, still times to announce but we now know Gearbox having a conference for instance



Mix in the not E3 stuff like Devolver, there's going to be a awful lot between now and that E3 award show.

I will continue to update my listed with UK times with everything not just the official E3 stuff.

What the piss have Gearbox got to warrant a conference?!

Apparently a fair few 'insiders' were tearing their hair out at the lack of Switch Pro yesterday.

I stopped putting any faith in Nintendo rumours and leaks a while ago. Leakers are usually just attention seekers anyway, there’s nothing else in it for them.

It's such a strange situation, all I heard was Thursday that didn't happen.

Yesterday though saw a few credible people mention they've spoken to developers that have stuff to announce yet can't because waiting on Nintendo, then another saying production of the New Nintendo Switch Pro is starting this month.

I feel there's a gif or something missing there.

Knowing Buska it still works without one.  

This is one aspect that slowly put me off being excited for E3, it's more about the clout chasing and clicks & I'd rather just be happy with what I can actually play now and not worry about something that either doesn't exist or is many years away. With that said I will probably still watch the e3 Nintendo direct & a chunk of treeshouse live as I do enjoy that format.

You're not wrong but for Xbox, I'm like you got this great service and all these studios, what are you doing?

Xbox is the Dreamworks Animation of video games

Is Halo, Shrek then? Big green guy the first excellent, some of the others are as well but now tad meh and hoping the new one captures the magic of previous entries?

I think this sums up Xbox for many people. And if it's not knowing what they are working on, it's announcing a game and not showing anything for years after...

A bit of a conundrum if you don't show anything then you have peeps going what are those 20+ studios doing and if you do its oh well F4ble is years away.

Sony used to be the worst for it, they've got better, but then God of War II recently was just a logo and even Nintendo with Bayo 3 & Metroid however they have things in between.

I hadn't even thought of that but yes. And all the other mediocre first party Xbox games are all the other mediocre Dreamworks movies.

I would tend to agree especially Xbox One gen but they did have some good things mixed in especially Forza Horizon 4 which is easily best racing game I've ever played.

It's why they've bought all those studios, so it's not the same games that have become meh more than anything.

And they now have some quality studios like Obsidian, Ninja Theory, Arkane and Double Fine just what are/will they be doing is the question.

Gears is How to Train Your Dragon.
Forza is Kung Fu Panda.
Crackdown is Madagascar.
Blinx is The Boss Baby.

This is all brilliant. I particularly like Mas' Shrek-Halo equivalence.  Madagascar was alright though!

Absolutely with you on this.  I don't think there's a single good thing to be said for leaking: an accurate leak spoils something that would be much more fun to find out through a trailer, while an inaccurate one whips up hysteria for no good reason.  The only good thing I can possibly reach for is that when you read about something through a leak, that slightly lessens the big corporate's power over you when it comes to reveal, and annoying big companies is always good.  That said, if you're going to do that, just do investigative journalism into shoddy working conditions and business practices, the stuff the companies never want you to know about. That applies to everyone, from Emily Rodgers and VGC to stevexXx69 whose uncle works for Nintendo and that's why he's telling you about Diddy Kong Racing Remastered on 4chan.

Anyhoo, I'm actually pretty up for this. I'm trying not to be, because that way lies disappointment and sadness and Balla yelling at the One Last Thing 'only' being BotW2's release date and title; but the hype is building. <8 days to go...

I'm gonna watch the Nintendo thing and probably like it, and I'mma get the rest from TCGS.

Speaking of the Nintendo thing, what are the plans for Discord or what-have-you?

Andy be excited to know when Gearbox, now is even most of its leaked.
