You're not alone. I liked Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 at the time, but Sonic Heroes was the first 3D one that I didn't get really annoyed with (so I wouldn't say I loved it, just have fonder memories). You could actually see what you were running into and flicking between three characters on the fly made more sense than character-specific levels. No idea if it holds up, but I imagine it's a reason why Sonic fans still exist that missed the 90s games. Mas, do you have Sonic Shuffle? That's one game I always wanted to play.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was pretty good.

When you check online if a game is in stock, go to the store, grab it from the shelf, and then are told "I'm afraid we can't find the disc". Add to that, their card machine wasn't working. And the staff still don't own working showers.

Someone needs to open up a rival chain because these jokers are getting really cocky. I thought to ask "Don't you guys do stock takes?" but would have been laughed out of the store.

Problem with a CEX and said elsewhere on the forum is retro prices just keep going up, a company like them one day have Metroid Samus Returns for X then it's £40, due to the supply and demand,

Where I know when had the shop didn't do that if we had something instock at the time and same when I got Panzer Dragoon Orta from Insane Games it was still like £12 where eBay was silly prices when that went backwards compatible (Remember GAME put a load of 360 games up in price as well). They even mentioned like they could put it up in price, but didn't want to because of loyal customers.

Now if Insane was to get Metroid Samus Returns in, I would imagine it's also £40 though. That I don't think they're bad prices, I think game prices are bad.

I'm thinking more about the times you see a newly released game costing more in CEX than it does to get it new elsewhere. I'm sure that wasn't the they did business a while back but I could be wrong.

Can I... can I say 'the politics'? I don't want to get everyone down about 'the politics', but as someone whose second jab isn't until the back end of next month, the idea that every bastard can tear off their mask anywhere they like scares the shit out of me.

Yeh, I saw various things about that on twitter yesterday along with how fully vaccinated people might not have to self isolate either going forward & I just said out loud to myself....

I already feel like every bastard has tore their mask off for the last month or so, I have as little faith in the general public as I do those tossers at Downing Street, I'm just gonna stick to doing what I see fit and avoiding the arseholes who don't care about anyone but themselves.

I think I'm going to avoid shopping in person where possible after the 19th and stick to online delivery. Smurf may be right that every bastard is tearing their mask off, but not everyone's a bastard. Come the 19th I reckon only a handful of people will still wear masks, because it's acceptable not to.

That said, trying to find a barber where they actually wore masks was fun* today.

Ohh really, I would have said my barber is safer than my dentist or when I've been hospital.

I was surprised too! I did eventually manage to get a haircut somewhere that was fully masked up (this morning), but I'd have assumed that all barbers would still have to wear them, given how close they get to your face. Apparently not...

Cheers Buska. Happily (and I use that word very loosely) she already suspected that might be the case, so wasn't as devastated as she might have been.

My computer is currently at the Apple Store, suffering from 'severe corrosion damage' that'll cost upwards of £1k to fix.  So today in really !&$%ing me off, it's my own clumsiness that caused me to knock water all over it. Typing this from The Lady's clunky bastard machine.

For £1000 you could buy a non-apple machine that does more stuff . . .
