It all sounds good so far. Perhaps the most eye-catching bit of news is that the hardware reveal is rumoured to be taking place next month...
Unless I missed it, that hardware reveal didn’t take place in March.
There’s been a bit more chatter about the Switch successor this month, with confirmation that it’ll be formally announced “this fiscal year” and with trustworthy rumours coming out about its components and architecture.

“A more powerful, technically enhanced and backwards compatible Super Switch” sounds like what we’re getting. And to be honest it would be utterly mental for them to do anything (unless it was the N64 2, with Wetrix 3 available at launch, then that’s the clear go-to option).
This Christmas seems inconceivable for a launch. Spring 2025 seems plausible, right? I don’t remember a time when a first iteration of a major console released during the summer. Yet could it be still a further eighteen months away?
