What are you playing on your 3DS/DS right now?

I'm only at the 30ish hour mark on MH

I'm in the 60s. Stupid job/ relationship/ social life/ sleep.

I only have a job and the unfortunate need to sleep getting in the way of hunting monsters.

I'm a lady's man, man's man, man-about-town, y'see.

I was always pretty certain I'd end up liking it... it was more the fact I knew I'd be spending hundreds of hours on it and that I had other games to play at the time. Fortunately, No Man's Sky was a bit wank, so I had time to spend hunting monsters!

Praise be to No man's sky being shit then.

Managed to go back to Pokemon Yellow after tiring of it about half way through I seem to have gotten my second wind.

After being put off Stella Glow for its lengthy dull tutorial and fanservice-y box art, I've given it another pop due to a lack of other interesting things to play on m'3DS. It does get more fun after the first half-hour to hour or so... but the art style, and some of the dialogue, is still quite fanservice-y.

I'm 74 hours in MHG now, only just got past the first credits.

The cutscene was amazing.

I'm insanely tempted to download the Phoenix Wright trilogy, replay them, play Dual Destinies and grab the new one, but I know I won't find the time

You might just about have time for DD if you're quick!

...maybe. I'm not in a rush to pick up the new one, so it might have to wait until after Hotel Dusk and The World Ends With You, which have to wait until after I stop playing Monster Hunter.

Let me know when you jump on the Hotel Dusk and/or TWEWY train - I've been meaning to replay both of those games for ages now, so I might revisit them when you start them up so I can play alongside someone.

Funny you should say that- I was just thinking a spot of Hotel Dusk before bed would be spot on.

Ah shit, I didn't think it would be that soon!

I'll likely hold off on replaying it till after I've played my Phoenix Wright double bill coming up - it'll be too similar of an experience to be playing it alongside as Phoenix Wright.

Hehe, don't worry - I doubt I'll be playing at any pace. Monster Hunter will still be my go-to game, I just think Hotel Dusk will work nicely like reading a book before bed without the hassle of having to get up and turn the light off once I'm sleepy.

I don't think I could play it in bed - the music demands headphones, and I don't think I could fall asleep with headphones in my ears.

The music is exquisite, but a dark, quiet bedroom and the 3DS speakers should suffice.

I'll stop playing Monster Hunter Generations when Monster Hunter V comes out.

That is the Monster Hunter way.

And that's why I'm glad I don't play MH games! Only Smash inspires that level of playing to the exclusion of everything else for that length of time in me these days... until BotW comes out, possibly.

It took a lot of effort to play another game other than Generations - it's an addiction!

I'm forcing myself to put down Monster Hunter for an hour or two a week from now on so I can play the Phoenix Wright games case-by-case. The trilogy will be replays for me but after that it'll be hot and fresh Takumi goodness so I'm pretty excited.
