Star Wars Outlaws, as I will still be playing Mana, my plan is to play that then once I'm done with that pick up a used copy of this with the money from Mana

Black Myth wasn't on my radar as looked to Soulsy then they said no more like God of War, yet it's digtal only, so it is a pass at £55 maybe in a sale or proper physical comes or added to a service I will give a go.

And August is Gamescom, where we know no Nintendo or PlayStation, but Pokémon Company is going and Xbox having biggest showing ever along with ONL that I can see a few games getting dated for this month even such as Ara.

This is a great month for me!  And not just because of the obvious.

• As mentioned elsewhere, I enjoyed the second Famicom Detective Club game.  What they might do with a modern entry to the franchise excites me, so I'm very much up for Emio.  Day one.
  
• Cat Quest 2 was a class co-op adventure.  The Lady and I have been waiting with bated breath for the third game in the series.  Day one.
  
• Thank Goodness You're Here!  What if Untitled Goose Game starred a little yellow bloke opposite Matt Berry playing a Lancastrian?  Day one.
  
• Not on your list, but Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse comes to Switch on the 14th August.  The Lady is a big Sam & Max fan (I thought about abbreviating it there, but - no), so we'll be playing through this together just like we did Save The World and Beyond Time And Space.  Day one.
  
• Presents!  Cards!  35 years!  Day one 23.

Sam and Max must gone under the radar, as on no list I've seen qnd I started using two other places not just Amazon, ShopTo for retail and whats down to preorder on eShop etc

A cursory Google returns "Northern English town". So, unconfirmed.

August is bookended by a couple of games I’ll be getting, with nothing in between. I’ll download the Tomba! Special Edition from the eShop on August 1st provided that the price isn’t stupidly high. On August 30th I’ll buy the retail version of Ufouria: The Saga 2. This wasn’t on my agenda until I played through the decades-old NES prequel last month, which I thought was an excellent game.
 
I was considering buying those Evercade cartridges in July until they got delayed. They said that was because of production and shipping hold-ups, but I hope it’s for quality control. They launched a broken Indie Heroes 2 cart earlier in the year that didn’t work properly with their newly released Super Pocket handheld, and I had a Sunsoft Collection 2 cart fail on me only two months after it came out. I think with the Tomb Raider Collection I’ll wait and see what the feedback from other reviewers and buyers is. The Thalamus Collection can wait for a sale, there’s no rush for that or desperation to play it at all.

Nothing tickles my pickle there, though if I hear enough positive buzz about Emio or this indie or that indie, who knows.

I'm excited to learn the metacritic score of Star Wars Outlaws.

Just Volgarr the viking 2 for me, but I really should finish the first game before buying it.

Thank Goodness You're Here will be a day one for me, The Rugrats game looks kind cool so I might pick that up if it reviews well, same goes for Gori: Cuddly Carnage which looks incredibly over the top with silly violence. Emio will be the other day one of the month and finally I want Outlaws because its Star Wars but also because its Ubisoft I'll pick up a 2nd hand copy some point down the line.

Cappa, I did the two Madden 25 for you, as I'm sure you said when they did it first time around what they call the next one.

I think Outlaws going to be like 78-81 from what we've been seeing.

These scores can of course change, they'll be using the scores as of 1pm next Monday. At the moment, Outlaws has a 77 on Opencritic from 29 reviews (Anyone got on Fantasy?), Meta PS5 sees it with a 78 from 29 reviews, PC 73 with 7 reviews and Xbox also a 73 from 7 reviews on Metacritic.

Who cares about that?  The real takeaway here is that none of y'all wished me happy birthday, in any format at all, apart from Mas on Facebook.

In everyone's defence, we usually get reminded of birthdays by you being the first to wish it, therefore you should have wished yourself a happy birthday.

Even Winston Payne could pick apart that defence.

In that case I'll owe you a belated birthday drink in due course.

I think Smurf is genuinely right though, I usually only notice birthdays because I see there are new posts in the thread!

What I'm getting is, more people need to pick up on the 'birthdays today' bit at the bottom of the forum.
