I don't want to watch that video. Not right now. With Kirby's Triple Deluxe, Shovel Knight and (at some point) Yarn Yoshi all on the way, not to mention the game I'm currently playing, I too am close to suffering 2D platformer fatigue. There was a LOL? Anyway, SK is part of that video. As is Mighty No. 9 and Shantae. The video has made me excited for Wooden Sen'Sey and Paper Monster Recut - two games I hadn't really noticed before.

| I'm gonna take a chance and go for Knytt Underground, with my Premium Network £5. I know opinions have varied, but it looks like the sort of rambly confusing explore-a-thon I'd like.
And yes... there are too many indie platformers. I suspect 8-bit boy will be cancelled (I appreciate it's a homage, but it's just like a Flash remake of Mario 3), and Gem Collector looks like My First GameMaker project. |

| I can understand some people's fatigue with the genre but I personally can't get enough of them, they're the kind of games I can happily play alongside something different or a bit more meatier.
Also that video is missing a few like Teslagrad & 1001 spikes.

| Watched the video a few games catch my eye like Shantae but no real standouts, and I'm still yet to see any that I really want unlike my avatar. |

| I'm guessing KnapNock worked on the spaceship and Nifflas made the world. Regardless, it looks good! |

| I'd be sold just knowing who was involved but that does look pretty cool. I'll probably buy it, play an hour or so and forget I have it like everything I download. |

| Looks like a lot of fun.
I really enjoyed Spin the Bottle, so I'm pretty much sold already, but the name of the game alone tells me the developers are enjoying making this. |

| Once again, there's a bit of tat there. But Hyper Light Drifter looks even better in motion than it did in stills. Also, RymdResa - I wanted to make a game like that - like Starship Command but with a story. It might actually be that I'm most excited for. |

| I just lost a big post ( ), but: Armillo looks like a combination between Sonic and SMG2, only with a story. A bad story. SittM is... I don't even know. The writing could make this good, or dire. As someone who is not a big fan of "kooky" American humour, my money's on the latter at the moment. Cubemen 2 has really epic music for its trailer. I will never play it. Nihilumbra intrigues me the most out of this lot. Looking forward to it "arriving to Wii U". Sigh. And in Soviet Russia, Teslagrad enjoys playing you. The chap hosting Masofdas' video annoys me. Him aside, none of the games shown really caught my attention (apart from Churbles, in the wrong way). Two Brothers came close, but then boasted a "non-linear storyline" and "multiple endings". Going to need to see some reviews for that lot, I think. |
