| I'm now for some reason having trouble with his jumping on the boss battle so when I get down the cliff I'm sitting on one heart |

| Right, I've given up on aceing the boss battles. A couple of times now I've missed one thing in the later stages of a battle and come THIS CLOSE to putting a hole in a wall. |

| I've nearly done that as I do well through the levels but for some reason with this first boss I'm so out of time with what it wants me to do it's not funny |

| Perhaps it's my knack for rhythm games, but I didn't struggle with great ranks on Harmoknight (I actually found its scoring system to be a bit too lax, dishing out greats when many a mistake had been made) up until its equivalent of Grandmaster Galaxy. Took me ages to get a 'great' on it. |

| It's the bosses that are killing my progress on this. That and the fact that I have loads of jobs to do over the holiday! It's a fun game and I'll make sure to get all the bonus levels unlocked, but once I've done that and beaten it, I doubt I'll ever play it again. Rhythm games and I do not get on. |

| I just could not get past the "left" Right" "Jump" parts. If it's just running and jumping and hitting I'm fine |

| Yesterday I came back to HK for a spell and made it to the snow world. The first miniboss level came up. I hit everything perfectly except for the final enemy - y'know, the one that is an automatic fail if you miss it, no matter how well you'd done previously? So I tried again - and hit everything perfectly except for the final enemy. Third time was the charm, fortunately! If I'd messed up again, we would have been in territory. |

| I'm getting to the stage where if my timing sucks enough leave it for a bit then go back and watch me fluke the level.
Really do love the bonus levels |

| The bonus levels are cool, though I can't stop the nagging feeling that they're a bit cynical on Game Freak's part. Anyway, there's a surprising amount of variety to the game, given the constrictions of a rhythm platformer. Or, in other words, ruddy minecart levels! |

| The only problem being that not many of their attempts at "variety" work. The dancing and bosses are generally tedious, and the cymbal car levels aren't worth the paper their concept was printed on. The only real "formula" change that has worked for me is the different characters, and even then they show up how much better Tempo is.
I'm coming around to Sporky's score of 7. Heck, I think that might be a little generous. |

| Oddly, and it pains me to say this: so far I've had way more fun with the demo than the actual game. The demo hinted at potential that the full game doesn't appear to be striving towards. I have a long way to go yet, though, so I might be jumping in too early with my opinions. It would seem that Rhythm Tengoku has set the bar for rhythm games to an impossibly high standard. |

| I just beat it. Not perfectly, you understand; and I did fall off a cliff the first time. I agree with Stu, though: the potential's there for a better game. Roll on Harmonknight 2, I guess! |

I'm still waiting for Drill Dozer 2, so I wouldn't hold your breath. You might pass out and bang your head on the coffee table. |

Oddly enough, the ONM review came to exactly that conclusion. As for myself, I've had a good time with the game - better than I expected, actually, given the demo. We've hit the opposite end of the scale, Stu - appropriate. |

| Well, I'm glad you've enjoyed it. It's having a tough time competing with Luigi's Mansion 2 here, at the moment. |

| Anyone else got to Cloudy World? Anyone else tearing their own hair out? Especially with the baroque level: I either get destroyed by the globule-ghost rush, or get past that and die immediately afterwards. |

| Yes, I'm in Sky Roost. Having declared it beaten for Backloggery purposes, though, I'm fully on Hydroventure instead - the level I'm on is called Nightmare Station, which seems appropriate for Sky Roost! I've got to the end of one Sky Roost level but the next one proved too tough for my lumpen fingers. |

| I'm still on the Boss level at the Ice world, you really have to time that jumping right this time around or you'll fall before you can even press B |

Er... I think I'm here now. Lava, "baroque" music, crumbly platforms in abundance, boulders? Oh dear oh dear. |

| I'm up to the metal levels at the moment (Metallic Mountain?). Completely pissed my way through the game so far, though my enjoyment has increased somewhat, particularly with the surprisingly cinematic boss 'battles'. |
