| Thoughts on Boulder-Dash XL 3D anyone? I forgot to pick it up but I've always been tempted at the rerelease price of a fiver. Though that sale price was amazing given it made it as cheap as the smartphone versions with the addition of tactile controls.
Virtue's Last Reward being a tenner this week is a steal, do pick it up if you're interested. Though I'd still recommend importing 999 on DS over it, as it's the superior game at any price.

All in all, it's pretty good! It isn't aesthetically-pleasing or particularly innovative, but it's quite challenging, it's clever, and it's stuffed full of content (albeit content that's very, very similar). £2.49 was an amazing price, but it's still good value at a fiver, in my opinion. |

| Bah, no Retro City Rampage DX this week. Curious to see what it's like on 3DS, given how a lot of aspects of the game have been remade. I always thought the zoomed out camera of the original harmed it somewhat. Will probably just be getting the free DLC minigames for Spin the Bottle, then. - The Cappuccino Kid wrote:

I think you just simply had to set up Miiverse on 3DS and link it to your Nintendo Network/Club Nintendo account. Decent wee freebie! ~ That's the first six Guild games on sale for £2.69 each. I've already got three of them (Aero Porter, Liberation Maiden and Attack of the Friday Monsters), and would recommend them all. I didn't get along with Aero Porter, but appreciate what it tried to do, and think that it could find fans elsewhere on the forum. Liberation Maiden gave me one of the most fun hours I've had on 3DS - £2.69 isn't much at all for that level - if not amount - of entertainment. Friday Monsters is excellent, and a genuinely pleasant, eye-opening surprise for somebody who usually thinks that type of game is mince. |

| I just acquired Attack of the Friday Monsters out of that lot, as a big JRPG fan (as well as Sub Wars). I tried Crimson Shroud back in the day, but I think it's a little too bare-bones for me. |

Thursday. I don't have it either, but haven't completed any of the games in the series beyond the original. To those who have it: can I skip straight to this one if I wanted, or is it advisable that I play through the ones that came before it? ~ Downloaded Bugs Vs. Tanks in the eShop sale last night, and spent a couple of hours on it since. Simply put, it isn't much good. Interesting idea, but it lost it's charm in about half and hour, and it doesn't do anything smart with it. What's left is simplistic, samey and a wee bit dull. |

| I'd say that you need to play Apollo Justice, but I think Mas went straight into PWDD with minimal problems. Mas? |

I went straight from the original to Dual Destinies and I'm still enjoying it. |
