| I'm wondering how well this game has performed in Europe?
Casually flicking through the Amazon listings this morning, I noticed that it's still in stock at full price, and it's currently listed as "Only 14 left in stock (more on the way)." In a week's time, it'll have been out for a year in Europe; seems like pretty good going for a third-party 3DS game to me. |

| It's a game I really wanted to play but missed out on when it was relatively cheap and everywhere. I might pick it up one day when I get a new 3DS |

| I paid £15 for it in His Masters' Voice yesterday, after it came down overnight from £40 :O |

| I didn't think this was all that brilliant, truth be told. I'm blaming the exploration stuff and the dull storyline for feeling that way, rather than the rhtyhm-action itself. You'll get value for £15 though. |

| Oddly, (though I've yet to finish this game, despite having it since launch) I've so far enjoyed the story more than the rhythm games. I know that's not a good thing, but the production values are pretty good. I think I might enjoy the minigames more if I carry on with it on my 3DS XL; which, unlike the 3DS, actually has a competent D-pad. |

I opened this thread to say just this. The story was a poor man's Layton -- heck not even that, even when Layton's dialogue ambles it's more entertaining and better executed than the entirety of Rhythm Thief's narrative -- and the rhythm games lacked the tactile controls that Nintendo executed better in Rhythm Heaven Gold on DS. I still enjoyed the rhythm games, though, and there were some truly excellent ones within the set of 50, but a lot of them were duffers and the sort of thing I'd never want to play again despite how replayable this genre is. |

| I got this at the same time as Layton 6 and I think that I've not given it the time it deserves because of that. Really should rectify that soon. |

| I picked this up yesterday thinking it might be worth a few quid and it's not (I must of seen a American thing as over there it's worth $30+), that I'm keeping for the moment,
I'll hopefully get around to playing it between now and when I die. |

| As it was part of the Humble Bundle, I bet a few more of us have played this now - including me! You can definitely see the Layton influences all over the game: the tappable coins, the navigation, quirky one-issue NPC's... I'm gently enjoying it so far, but that might be because of Layton withdrawal. |
