| Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELYJ7oWRj2Y Captain Toad has his own game, and after being initially underwhelmed, I'm looking forward to it. Mostly because of the level design shown in the trailer, which looks... well, like classic Nintendo level design.

| Hoping this is just a eShop game as it's look good for of those maybe not a full game. |

| Treehouse has really just sold this to me. It has a "Toad makes annoying noise" button, for crying out loud! What more do you want? |

| Really didn't expect this and I doubt most people didn't ask for it but I can't imagine anyone will be complaining, the Captain Toad levels were fun and it seems they've fleshed it out pretty well looking at the trailer, certainly sounds like more on an eShop game than a full release though. |

| Really glad they done this as I was quite fond of his stages in Mario 3d world. |

| The Captain Toad levels in 3D World were an easy chore to get a few quick stars. It looks like they've fleshed them out here at least. I'll keep my eye on it. |

| Got to say I like the look of this. Captain Toad has been around for a while now, he was amusing in Mario Galaxy, his levels were a fresh experience in 3D world. |

| This might be a little bit lightweight - for the same reason I didn't play the Mario/Donkey Kong 3DS eShop thing; but Captain Toad is a-dore-ee-a-ble. |

| Toad!
Looking forward to this, and I trust EAD Tokyo to keep the level designs fresh. Hope the camera controls are a bit more flexible this time around, I did find them a bit too fiddly in 3D World during the Captain Toad levels. |

| Idea: a bonus idle animation should have Mario/Luigi walk along and bounce on Capt Toad's head for a bit. |

| You might of all ready seen but this will be coming Jan 2015 now in the EU, which I'm fine with as gives me a Wii U game of some note each month apart from maybe December which SMASH could still out then. |

| It's an odd delay though considering everywhere else will still get it this year, perhaps they are focusing on the better wii U markets? |

| Maybe, I don't know but does seem silly to put it out against there own games in those markets. Mainly NA as Japan does get Hyrule & Bayo 2 sooner then the rest, so will avoid them but unlikely to avoid smash. |

| 9th of January which makes that Nintendo want one game of month rumour look rather true.

| My source* said 9th of January. Something to spend any remaining Christmas money on, methinks.
*NintendoLife, to which I cannot link as my laptop won't open two Internet windows at once at the moment. |

| I can wait a couple of weeks after Christmas, given that SSBU should last me for months. Cute trailer, too. Need I say that it looks like a must-have? |

| It does and in the states it's $40 not $60, so you would hope it's £29.99 which seems a great price looking at the game also does it look better the 3D World graphically. |

| I absolutely love the look of this game but I can't too fussed about the delay. A January release should hopefully mean I can give it my full attention. |

| It's a good delay which like you say will give us time to play and if the rumour of one game of month, it looks more likely that's true for EU which started with Hyrule (Sep), Bayonetta 2 (Oct), Sonic Boom (Nov), SMASH (Dec), Captain Toad (Jan) but the states don't have anything at the moment in Jan but Sonic Boom & SMASH in the same month poor Sonic. |

| That new trailer has moved from tepid to hyped: game look glorious fun in an old-skool way, and the cuteness was just too much. Those adorable animations! |
