| I think we will see MH:S here just based of the sales of MH4:U in the west also MH:S has been in development for 5 years, hopefully it will be good. |

| Most MH spin offs have been really quirky and Japan only, this may have the best chance but that depends on a number of factors and the top one I can think of is do Nintendo want to publish it in Europe like they do for the main game?
It's so tough to judge right now since we have not seen any gameplay footage yet. |

| I'm with OS. The graphical style alone makes me more interested in this than any of the "real" monster hunter games. |

| It's funny you say that when there's a section of MH fans that want the main series to appear on ps4/XO with more "realistic" graphics and they only got more vocal when MH:Online* was announced. (*MH online was only released in China and used the crytek engine for it's visuals) - MH online picture. :
I've always seen MH as a more cartoon-ish game with it's wacky gestures, crazy oversized weapons & cats that cart you back to base camp if you faint when facing a monster but I can definitely see why this would appeal to you more. --- I do wonder if the combat in MH stories is going to be it's own thing or will it be a MH-lite kind of system? Perhaps if it is the latter it will be used to get folk into the main series. |

| Isn't MH:O getting a international release now and going into BETA in June.
Also the PS4 has 4 fairly decent clone in Toukiden.
But I agree with Balla & OS just from the trailer, it looks like something I want to play. |

There were rumours of it a few years ago but those were confirmed to be wrong pretty quickly. - mas wrote:

Oh don't get me wrong it has my interest I just think it's madness to say it looks better than a main MH game when we know nothing about it, unless of course oldschool was just referring to visuals/art style and if he was then that just comes down to personal preference. |

| I did google search before replying to you and couldn't find a thing so if you have a link then share away, anyhow MH:O is meant to be a pay 2 win pile of shite.

Like a gateway drug? I've been thinking along those lines too - it makes sense, as there's clearly a lot to enjoy in MonHan. I'm keeping a bdi on this. |

Actually, I think I can say for certain that I will prefer this, if for no reason than I've stayed away from past MHs because of the all-swallowing online aspect. Combine that with the fact that I much prefer this visual style, as well as that I like JRPGs but didn't get on with the MH4 demo., and I will be pretty surprised if I don't prefer this game to any other MH. |

Which only leads me to a question: Why would you want to? This for me will be the most useless option ever. I wouldn't even buy a movie for my Vita and that has a better screen. |

| Dunno.. Because you can?
With the Japanese one it can basically replace everything with the music app it has so I guess movies would be the next step. Or big hero 6 could be a one off thing |

| I wouldn't dream of using the 3DS browser, let alone sitting with my face pressed against it trying to watch a movie. It'll look like rubbish on the 3DS screen anyway. |

| As I've posted in the Wii U thread what's coming, let's do the 3DS this is for North America but gives a rough idea from the financials posted today.
This is 1st party Aug LBX: Little Battlers eXperience Sep Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer Oct Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash Fall The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes Holiday 2015 Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, YO-KAI WATCH Q1 2016 Hyrule Warriors Spring 2016 Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam 2016 Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest 2016 Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright 2016 Bravely Second: End Layer 2016 Metroid Prime: Federation Force 2016 Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games
It's a decent line up but to me the only stand out is the Fire Emblem's and YO-KAI |
