You know, the Zelda concert.

I've got a spare ticket going, £41. Anyone interested?

Unfortunately didn't have time to take you up on this, otherwise I really would have! Was it brilliant, StreetPass hits aside?

It was!

Obviously the music was as good as to be expected, there was a hugely surreal bit in the middle where everyone applauded a stick for cosplaying (The conductor had a baton made like the one in Wind Waker for that part of the show), I didn't get fleeced too hard for drinks and, as everyone on The Twitter knows, I met Matthew Castle!

Can't really ask for much more.

Nice, especially the Castle bit! Hugely envious. Very Happy

What's The Castle like? I've always imagined he was ten feet tall. I remember reading a story in NGC that N64 Magazine attended a competition at an HMV in Oxford Street and a wee boy started shaking when he met Greener - were you like that?

No.

Little bit. Embarrassed

He's only about half a head taller than me, and I'm not tall tall. He's pleasant enough, though, not as hyperactive as his Wispa Gold-subsisting-on magazine persona would suggest, anyway.

I am so jealous beemoh! Next time something like this is on the horizon, let us know - you know how balla and I are real muzos.

In a similar vein, I went to see all 3 Lord of the Rings films at the Royal Albert Hall in 3 consecutive years, and the music was performed by a live orchestra and choir. Awesome, in the proper sense of the word.

I completely forgot about this, would have gone had I remembered it though. Glad you enjoyed it, did Koji Kondo appear to give a surprise performance?

Aw. He was there for the late 2011 events, I guess it would be harsh to fly him over around the world again...
