Let's All Play Rebirth: Suggestions Thread

Howdy all. It's been a while since we saw one of these threads pop up!

I'm figuring, due to a lull in releases right now, it might be a fun idea to start playing through a game together again. But I need your help!

I've already seen masofdas suggest Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages/Seasons and Super Metroid, but what else can you guys think of that we can all play?

This might be hard, given the Nintendocentricity of this forum but it'd be good if we could get something with online co-op.

I would also say, any of the 30p game's or any a VC like super mario world.

I like the sounds of Beemohs suggestion but I think it'd be tough to find a game.

A retro game with online co-op/MP? How about bomberman blitz? (Available on DsiWare/3ds)

Bomberman would be grand - sadly my handheld is just a plain ol' DS Lite so I'm restricted on that front. Perhaps a single player game and a multiplayer title side-by-side?

I'm definitely up for Bomberman. I think it's £4.50 off the eShop/DSi Shop, well worth it at that price.

Just a shame this will never see the light of day.

What about super castlevania IV?

I'd be game if everyone else is. I don't want to make the thread and have nearly nobody post there, sort of defeats the purpose really!

I'd be up for that, though TV-based gaming is going to be hard in the next two weeks (my girlfriend's got a week of annual leave and some nicely worked shifts around it).

I'd have joined you for Super Castlevania IV but after downloading it recently I'm actually at the very last boss battle! It's an utter bastard but the game that comes before it is brilliant.

What game out this week on the eShop might be worth using as a Rebirth game.

Let me know - I don't have a 3DS so really it's up to you lot. I'll probably just emulate it, unless I already own it on another platform!

The first Mega Man X would probably be a better shout - it's a tighter game too.

Don't know if I've posted this before, but this is a cracking video on Mega Man X and game design in general.

Joking! Either would be great in my book - I do need some impetus to finish MMX.

An excuse to start it (or even purchase it!) is good by me.  

Fun fact - Mega Man X isn't actually the tenth Mega Man.
