What's new (pussycat)?

It seems as though the Gintendo lime icon has gone mouldy and broken - I've reuploaded a juicier lime icon as it was causing some issues when trying to load up the forum.

Yeah, we had a little chat about that in the Gintendo thread. Weird, as that icon works fine when one clicks through to gintendo

Honestly though, I'm not worried about boosting numbers for the sake of it. I love the atmosphere here, and it doesn't feel like any other internet forum. But, if people who can live that GNamer life wanted to join, I'd like that.

Maybe this is more work by Chris "Marketing" Pengilly. I noticed increased facebook activity for Monster Mash today as well.

That sounds pretty neat actually.

Hmm! Forumotion notifications sounds interesting. Still, do I want a notification every time Jas updates the wrestling thread? Does he want one every time I update the cricket thread? Curious to know how this works, not yet sure whether that'll translate into acquiring the app.

Using the app now, as you should be able to see from the seemingly permanent signature it's forced on me. It's nice and clean and all put only seems to allow you to look at more recent discussions rather than freely search the forum. Just waiting for someone else to post now so I can see how good it is at keeping me up to date.

Edit: Scratch that only recent discussions thing, there's a symbol in the top corner that looks like the Tumblr t that allows you to freely search topics

Any joy? It'd allow me to browse the forum at work, so I'm interested to hear if the app's any good.

It works well enough but returning to the forum after a few days means that not all topics that have been replied to fit on the news feed.So unless I follow topics I'll have to try to seek out which ones have had replies that aren't listed on "recent".

That being said as long as you're visiting regularly enough and the forum isn't crazy busy it should be easy enough to keep up.

I've added some Christmasness to the main page of the forum. Let it be known that I've not programmed this myself (!) - it was a suggestion made on the Forumotion admin forums.
