I think likes, or something like a like, could be alright. Sometimes you read something and agree but don't have much to add. I'd rather have more bespoke troll buttons.

In general I'd rather encourage conversation though, there's no shortage of places on the internet to upvote or downvote things.

Aye, I use the likes of Twitter or Reddit to mindlessly upvote or like things whereas I prefer coming here for a bit of a chat - feels more engaging, y'know?

One thing I have noticed: having Quick Reply seems to disable multiquote functionality. If you find a way to get multiquote working in this new QR-enabled world, let us know!

I'm all for the quick reply box, makes it easier to look back at other posts further if Ness. Also agreed against the like/dislike option, a "boo this man" option wouldn't go amiss though.

Hmm I do like the idea of quitting whilst I'm ahead, that way I can be remembered as one of the greats.

I've already commissioned Smurf to do a full set of my 20k posts drawings. I'm thinking I'll print them out and hang them around the flat.

The Grackler has ascended to a whole new level of cool. You have exceeded yourself Smurf, top work.

So this 'similar topics' thing is a bit bobbins hey? And apologies, for now at least I can't find out how in the permissions to get rid of it. I did find it quite funny when the suggested topics for the tier list thread suggested not one but two topics about games that made us cry though.
