Yeah decent game so far which does make you think how are mens teams are so bad as the WSL is nowhere near the standard of other women's leagues on the continent.

Ouch, harsh. As to why the ladies are doing better than the gents, maybe not being such overpaid prima donnas has convinced them that they need to work as a team?

I think that's true Club over Country for the men's, the women's game might get like that if it gets getting bigger over time.

Anyway are girls beat Germany in the sort of none event 3rd place match and to end up being the best team in Europe in the competition.

Oh and stupid Argentina losing the Copa America, I had a cheeky fiver on them before the tournament.

Hows everyone's teams get on Week 1

City looked very good against West Brom.

Forest have yet to win in league or cup. You'd expect that scoring three goals at home against a lower league team would result in a win... but no!

Watched Spurs play well against Man United, only to gift them a goal. I'd rather play shit and lose, than play better than the opposition and still lose.

The 'orns didn't look out of their depth at all, at Everton. I was a bit concerned considering the entire back 4 were making their debut, but it all seemed to gel.

Liverpool were awful against Stoke - Coutinho strike aside - so not too optimistic about the season.

We've got one of the biggest games of the season on Sunday and I'm at work in-till 4 that by the time I get home I'll miss the first half.

Watch out Premier League, with 4 wins out of 4 Bath City top the Blue Square South .

Despite Celtic winning 3 - 2 tonight in our first leg UCL qualifier I came away from the game really pissed off, not just because they (Malmo) scored a second last minute away goal but at how the Malmo player Yotun could blatantly cheat and get away with it which then led to their goal.

I'm confidant we can win in the second leg though.

Spurs started as they no doubt mean to go on: monstrously toying with my heart. Sat upstairs at work looking at a very pleasant 2:0 lead, go back down then when I finish for the day they've equalised and ended on a draw!

Apart from the not drawing that's exactly how the Celtic game went, not once but twice we had a 2 goal lead.

Typical Man United got into pot 2 even though not been in the Champions League for 2 seasons and they get a easy group where City who have been in the champions league for 5 season in a row have a tough group again.

I think we can get through maybe even top this time around but still
