| Would anyone know if I would be able to play my Wii U without having a TV licence? Just moved away from home for a new job and I could do without spending another £250 on a telly and a licence just to play Mario Kart 8 (as f**king amazing as it is). |

| If its just to play games then no, but why haven't you just took your TV with you. A mate once had a TV in his car and didn't have to have a TV licence as you can't live in a car. So we watched top gear at car meet in his car also played wii sports on it. |

You're fine so long as you're not actually watching live telly on it. On demand telly like iPlayer is fine without a license I think, and games are fine too, natch. |

| All you have to do is go to the TV licence website and say you only use a TV for gaming and catch up TV and you're home free. I can't really get signal in my flat so I'm very glad I don't need one! |

| Thought you needed one for iPlayer etc or they were on about changing it that you would need one, as I'm sure I seen somewhere a news article about people plugging there PC's into TV's or big monitors back when 360's etc didn't do TV and were watching all there TV through them to get around paying. And that was along time ago now. |

| I love that feeling when you take on a super boss in a game with arrogance only to promptly have the stuffing knocked out of you and be completely crushed due to lacking both skill and stats. I just tried taking on one of the four legendary ships in assassin's creed four, because surely if a "hard" navel fort was easy to take out I'm ready for one of the super bosses, right? |

| I think I've complained about this before, but holy hell the playstation store is a godawful nightmare of a piece of trash! Between the blasted thing constantly kicking me out and the absolutely diabolical way they've set things up ( laaaaaaaaaaaag) it took me forever to buy anything. The old store I would've been in and out with my purchases of mass effect and super stardust delta in a matter of minutes, meanwhile this one has damn well put my sleeping schedule out it took so long! And as for the tales of xillia 2 avatars they've added, it's just dumb luck alvin was at the top and I saw it ( but hey, finally an avatar I actually want to use on the psn! ) Talk about horrific design. I don't usually say stuff like this but whoever designed the playstation network store genuinely needs to be fired, and never hired for any web design stuff ever again. Awful loading times, awful lag, the actual layout is ugly, finding things is a complete and absolute nightmare ( and remember that that will in turn actually cost sony money as it will drive potential customers away because they can't find what they're after), and it crashes more windows vista. And yes, this is worth the double post! I was supposed to be asleep two hours ago and this thing has blasted thrown me off, and if I don't get it off my chest now it'll only keep me up longer due to my brain insisting on mentally bashing it. |

| PS4 store is fine, and that's the customers they now want. Vita okay to navigate, all could be like the xbone store which is horrid. |

That really isn't a good excuse for how bad it works on ps3 considering it was changed a long time before ps4 was released maybe even announced, its just not an easy place to browse & I never use it that way which means there pretty much no chance of an impulse buy. |

| I never had a problem to be honest with the store, on ps3 plus game's easy to find & with a new download came out would be there at the front. Was just slow as hell.
My point about the ps4 was there not going to worry about fixing ps3 store as everyone that wants a PS3 most likely has one, they want to sell ps4's and focus on that not last gen (which is kinda unlike Sony). Only thing is the ps3 store etc might put you off buying a ps4 due to not liking it on ps3 but doesn't seem to be the case if you looking at ps4 sells.

| Double Post
What's happening with Nintendo, I mean in a employ stand point.
1st we get head on indie leave, comes out on twitter it's such a relief and goes on praising Sony on that's how indie should be done etc 2nd the guy that meant to submit things to ESRB leaks smash details which from the trailer from Nintendo Japan Direct were going it's real 3rd Mario Kart 8 DLC is leaked my Nintendo UK but that seemed to work out well for the Nintendo 4th 320 job cut's have been made at Nintendo Europe (Germany)
So is there something happening of course the job cut's don't really affect the rest and Nintendo UK might just be a little early with the news but got to be reason why the other two you would think are unhappy. |

| Ages ago I brought up about Drunka and him doing best of all time vote, I remembered we done a Top 100 etc thread thanks to jimbob. I went back into it and I did add up the top 10's etc but there was a few posts since then. So I've recounted of the 6 members that posted a top 10 (sorry jimbob number 1 on yours doesn't get 100 points seeing you posted 100) at least to get what we could call the
GNamer Top 10 Game's of All-Time
Number 1 Xenoblade Chronicles Wii 28 Points, Think me Zero & I should really play this Number 2 Super Mario 64 N64 23 Points Number 3 The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time N64 21 Points Joint 4th Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door GameCube & The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker GameCube 18 Points each Joint 5th Mass Effect Trilogy 360/PS3/PC & The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess GameCube/Wii 14 Points each Joint 6th Dark Souls 360/PS3/PC & Super Smash Bros. Melee GameCube 12 Points each Number 7 The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask N64 11 Point's Joint 8th Metroid Prime GameCube, Super Mario Galaxy Wii and Persona 4 Golden VITA 10 Point's each Joint 9th Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate WiiU, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past SNES, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Wii 9 Points each Joint 10th Super Metroid SNES, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion 360/PS3/PC, Shenmue II Dreamcast/X-Box, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots PS3, Persona 3 Portable PSP 8 Point's each
Okay not really a Top 10 more of a top 23 and mainly Zelda titles but not sure do I give a game with a first place the position over something that had more votes, this way no one can moan and yes I'm bored waiting for Destiny to come on Tuesday. |

I know it doesn't matter, but I think that, as you said, that list should really stop at Majora's Mask |

| I can't speak for others but while I do really like xenoblade I'm not all that crazy about it. It was really solid stuff and one of the more ambitious games of its genre I've played but that ambition also led it to not be all that great in a variety of areas. Or to put it another way, it wanted to be a jack of all trades, and as such ended up being a master of absolutely nothing. Well, besides scenic views. Gosh darn that game had some amazing art direction and area design. On another note I just have to say something after the latest part of xillia 2, and that is that what just happened really hit me right in the feels. - major spoilers up to chapter 11:
The whole alternate milla death thing. Made all the sadder given how little basically everyone actually cared about her, a grand total of one person seems to actually care she died. As much as I like the original milla I couldn't feel even remotely happy about her return given the circumstances of it.
Yeah, "milla" wasn't exactly the most lovable personality ever ( very large understatement) but she didn't deserve even remotely any of what she got. |

| As far as I see it Xenoblade is the greatest JRPG of all time, I'm not sure that JRPGs are the best genre but I really couldn't praise Xenoblade enough! To be fair to the results of the thread though I don't think everyone did name a top 10 (though I could be wrong, not sure I did at least) and top tens are as likely to change day to day as the weather. |

| Oh, absolutely. It's not going to be representative of the forum or carry any sort of weight due to volatility. In fact, about the only thing it shows is that people really like XC. In fact, wasn't it one of the games in Flirps' thread that nobody (who'd played it) hated? |

I don't honestly recall talking that much about it actually. The sequel has a few things about it that draw my attention ( mechs and a sawano score), but the original I don't recall talking about that much after finishing. I probably talk about persona and Tales a lot more. |

| I did say only 6 posted a full 10 at least, some things like you said might change like halo is in mine but destiny could replace it for instance.
On the numbers yeah could of stop at MM Jimbob but thought I'd give the rest there due.
On Xenoblade I think 5 out 6 had in there 10 with most around the number 4 mark, it just won due to being a very popular choice.
But a vote for the best JRPG of all time would be great, I can imagine Cappa's being 10 pokemon games. |

If it can get someone like me who normally doesn't go anywhere near JRPGs to not only play it but enjoy it massively then it's definitely a special game. |

| Didn't realise (or had forgotten) that you'd played it, Jas! I guess its environments are more like the vast plains of Skyrim et al. than your standard JRPG overworlds. But it's brilliant either way. |
