Despite my usual cynical traditional Kirby bashing ways, I'm going to get this. It looks really solid, has inspired use of 3D (As Balladeer has mentioned) and runs at 60fps (which should make floating around 'feel' right). Sounds like a game that's been polished to a shine, and I appreciate that.

My only problem is hitting B to get him to deflate, which I keep forgetting and sometimes that can hurt

| Played this today local game had a demo of it.
It was just one level but was really good it was more fun then the whole World1 & a bit of World 2 I've played of yoshi new island. I did play on a 2DS though but there was bit which you could tell should of been in 3D also looked pretty as well.
I preordered it but like I said in the release thread for may with yoshi still to finish and DK:TF to play. I'm still not sure I can justify buying it even being that fun.

Out today, and I have it, and it's gorgeous! It has actually made me go "hee" out loud, and I haven't even started playing it yet! Such pretty, so introduction, very music, wow.

Got this last weekend and just broke into World 2 this morning. Typical bright and breezy Kirby fare: a 'proper' one rather than an 'experimental' one, which is no bad thing in my book.

| Oh yes, I finished this recently! It's a very "spectacular" platformer, with little depth but pretty. I reviewed it in the finished games thread, so it's hard for me to think of anything to say that I didn't say in there...
Erm, what are people's favourite copy abilities? I'm fond of the Whip for close-combat, and the Archer for being a cheaty bastard. |

My favourite might be the Wheel, although Archer is awesome.

The two side-games are getting standalone expanded releases on the Japanese eShop. I can't say that I played either more than once, but might we have any takers for an English release? Shanks/ZJ?

Not for me. The Kirby Fighters will be obliterated when Smash Bros. 3DS comes out and I'm just not keen on Dedede's Jumping Game.

I dug this out last night mainly for something to play on my N3DS, and by goodness I'd forgotten how lovely this game looks and sounds. Hoping to polish it off this time, too. I reckon I'm over halfway now.

Dunno if it's my imagination, but it somehow looks lovelier on the N3DS screen...

I've not seen it on the old one, so can't compare myself. I like it, I just really struggle with the fact I can't get all the medals in every level because I'm wearing the wrong costume or something.

Yeah. The levels are quite long too, so backtracking through an entire stage again because you missed your only chance is a bit annoying.

I didn't have that problem much. I really liked K3D, and it made it into my votes for the year.
